We have been coming to K Sandwiches for decade, a longtime community favorite Vietnamese place for banh mi, hot and cold beverages from avocado shake to Vietnamese iced coffee, various delicious Vietnamese hot meals such as banh cuon, shrimp spring rolls, sticky rice, etc., breakfast meals, Vietnamese desserts and fresh baked goods. This place has a constant stream of regulars, students/teachers from local schools and community colleges and professionals from local hospitals. When you walk in, stand in the queue and order at one of the two registers in the front. They will call your order number when your food/drink is ready for pickup. This place is not fancy but clean and spacious and budget friendly and their American and Vietnamese sandwiches are delicious and priced well (average was under $10). You can even get a large bags of baguette ends for under $2. There are plenty of outdoor and indoor seating and decent parking lot. We recommend this place for quick lunch and for their delicious banh mi sandwiches.

Called an order in, when I got there, lots of people were in line. I was able to get my order within 5 minutes. However, the banh mi I got was full of sticks of cilantro. It was not cut up at all, which made it gross and hard to eat.

Love their banh mi sandwiches and their ice coffee. Lots of traffic here, but the service is still pretty fast. Made fresh to order and it's been good every single time.

Been visiting since before they burned down. I am not sure if we came on an odd day or due to inflation they had to cut back? The bread was very hard not fresh at all, very little veggies in the sandwiches, very little meat added as well. Not the way it use to be.

Good food, good price, efficient service. ?
Banh day texture could be improved, but sandwiches are perfect. And they are consistent.

Vegetarian options: Lemongrass tofu, bi Chay, or egg are all good veggie options. Be sure to ask for no pate if you're avoiding meat.

Parking: Parking lot is tight with lots of other businesses, but usually works out just fine.

Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap spot with ramp. Interior is wheelchair friendly.

Been going here since before it burned down and then reopened. Best Bahn Mi in SD. Super fresh bread and baked goods. Go to orders #1 Special Bahn Mi, #9 Grilled Pork Bahn Mi, any of the spring rolls, croissant with ham cheese jalapeno.

I got the lemongrass tofu Bahn Mi and it was delicious! I ordered the tofu summer rolls as well, I think I’m allergic to bean sprouts but I ate it all anyway because I love these things lol.

My husband isn’t really into sandwiches, but he enjoyed his pork meatball bahn mi.

We also got an egg + bacon croissant for our daughter, zero complaints. It was bigger than what I was expecting.

Overall, we’d order from K Sandwiches again. You definitely get your money’s worth and the portions are really good. Oh! The Vietnamese iced coffee is really good as well.

Service was okay, I guess the cashier couldn’t understand that I wanted TURKEY BACON. Not bacon and turkey. I said it very clearly and I guess he just didn’t feel like understanding. Food was okay, is not worth $7 for a mid level sandwich. Also charged me extra for cheese despite me ordering a specific item where it has cheese. These workers do not understand anything I guess. Not coming back until the cashier actually has common sense.

it's mostly average. Nothing really says, "come back, our taste is unique."
