Great spot, highly recommended.
Very simple location with a one page menu but everything on the menu is worth a look and the staff is very friendly. The only downside to this location is the lack of street parking on a busy day.
Gooseberries is absolutely amazing. The care and attention put into their food is unmatched for a small, covered, outdoor eatery. Absolutely delicious, imaginative meals. If I have one criticism, the serving size is small for me, but plenty for an average person. My family leaves completely full, but typically two dishes ties me over. Highly recommend.
I bring my friends from all over to eat breakfast here and we used to love it. The new Manager Shelly from Boston is a toxic energy..She has no aloha and certainly no restaurant experience..truly sad ..we will not be returning.
The best cafe in Hillcrest with great friendly service and the food is all healthy and delicious! Highly recommend!
this is my go-to breakfast/brunch spot. i love the matcha and their biscuits are the best i’ve had in all of sd! the owners are wonderful people and the staff are so kind and friendly. couldn’t be a more perfect spot
I wish I could say that the fresh ingredients were the start of this awesome experience, but the staff made this brunch location a must-see! Definitely suggest stopping by to enjoy a great start to your morning and day!
Cute place with dedicated staff and extra care in by-scratch-tasting food on cute dishes. Loved the biscuit. Try to grab a rare table in the sun!

Lovely little kafe! As far as coffee goes, I highly recommend The Raf; absolutely delicious. Very dog friendly as well! I brought my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Thor, and he was a hit with some of their regulars. Appreciate y'all.

Very cute family run cafe. Loved the atmosphere and the classical music made for a very cozy nice spot for breakfast. The seating was comfortable. The family owners were very friendly. Our coffee was delicious and the avocado toast was good.

Very cute counter service restaurant. Pastries looked delicious. I opted for the biscuit with egg and prosciutto. It was great. No wait. Outdoor seating and quiet so it was easy to chat with my friend.

Adorable cafe. Me and my friend wanted to come from a long time. Please check the days they don’t open. Was totally worth the wait. Small but delicious fresh homemade menu. We had the gooseberry muffin and the zucchini. Both moisty and flavorful. And no they don’t offer all kinds of milk options but is all good quality. You have to try the gooseberry jam that their mom does. Super!even the coffee cups are unique.
