We have been going to Kaiserhof for the past twenty five years and have gone there for special occasions. Our latest visit was last week and we were greatly disappointed. I've had their sauerbraten numerous times and this time it's presentation reminded me of three small hockey pucks. They were so dry that I had to wash the first one down with lots of water. I didn't even bother with the other two pieces. We used to enjoy good size portions because the meals were never cheap. This time the main courses only offered one side and the red cabbage looked like it came straight from a Cosco can. My wife had the same experience with her schnitzel. It was pounded to a pulp and there was only 1/16 inch of meat (I measured it!) inside the whole breaded piece. Overall, we paid almost $50 for a dry hockey pock, a 3 oz piece of meat made to look like it was a pound and a few pieces of stale bread. The service was good, as well as the German decor, but otherwise, next time I'll just put on some Wagner on the radio and enjoy a helping of saurkraut at home-oompa-oompa.

Ambience is very authentic. Service is nice. Food is atrocious, tasteless, nothing like real German food. On top that it is tasteless, it is also unjustifiably expensive. You will not encounter anything terrible there, but you will leave disappointed. We ordered variety: sausages and their "signature dish", Wiener Schnitzel. The same sausage you can buy for 1/10th of the price at Ralph's and grill yourself to your liking. Schnitzel was also nothing like German or Austrian. Tasteless veal, which was clearly over-beaten with very thick crust.

We love their sausages and stroganoff, as well as their pretzels! Our second time we also tried the schnitzel and cucumber salad. This is such a fun and delicious place to come! Our kids loved it too.

Had a great time and meal at this restaurant. Came here with a big party of 14 and the staff were so attentive the entire time! They made sure to answer all our questions and kept checking in throughout the entire meal. I ordered the chicken Gruyère with sides of potato pancake and red cabbage. All 14 meals came out at the same time which was very nice too! The meal was delicious, especially the main course! The sides had great flavor but were a little cold. Overall would recommend this spot to anyone who loves German food!

For a German who has moved here, I am more than thrilled.?The food is incredibly delicious. And very traditionally German. The waitresses were super friendly and very helpful. We got good advice, which was a dream for my American husband. We would like to thank you for the more than good food and service. It was a piece of home for me. We'll see each other again very soon ☺️♥️ and it's also good to know some of the waitresses speak German ?☺️_____________________I am more than enthusiastic about a German who has moved in. ?The food is incredibly delicious. Good authentic German food and atmosphere. Great cocktail specials on Fridays. One issue is that this place is so authentic that many customers appear to be under the impression that they are in Europe and tip very little money rather than the 18 to 20% that is expected in the US for good service, which the servers here consistently deliver.
