The service was good and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi wasn’t working and there was no restroom available, which made things a bit uncomfortable. I ordered the Mayan Mocha — I usually enjoy this drink elsewhere, but here the spiciness really overpowered the chocolate and coffee flavors. It was a bit too intense for me. Overall, it’s an okay spot, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Kakawa provided Coffee and Hot Cocoa for my students and their families at our semi-annual Piano Recital in Point Loma.

It was so nice to have everything taken care of-cups, drinks, creamer, sugar, etc. The coffee and hot cocoa were excellent as was their service (as always). There was also more than enough for everyone.

Thank you Gladys for going above and beyond and making my event amazing! I look forward to our next recital!

My husband and I live close by to this coffee shop and love their coffee and matcha drinks so much! I always get a dirty chai or the coconut matcha iced and my husband gets the Mexican mocha iced! Their chai is hands down one of the best chai’s not just in PL/OB area, but in all of SD. The owner and staff are always friendly and we enjoy the quality of their coffee so much! Definitely come here if you get the chance!😋🙌🏼
