Love this place. San Diego has no shortage of Sushi, but we make a point of coming here as often as we can! Service is great, the staff are attentive and friendly, and they ever remember our favorite seat and order when we come in Nothing quite like a comfy local restaurant like Kaki to make you feel right at home. I highly recommend the Black Dragon roll, Salmon Sashimi, and some hot green tea

Delicious food! Best sushi I've had outside of downtown San Diego in three years! The restaurant is a bit small, so don't try to have parties of dozens of people, but everything else about Kaki Sushi is amazing.

The sushi here is much better than competitors in the area such as Tappi. Fresh, thick cuts of fish well balanced with ingredients. The garlic edamame here is excellent! Go here for quick good local sushi.

DELICIOUS EVERY TIME!! This is my favorite GO-TO-SUSHI place, for it never ceases to amaze me: super fresh & tasty sushi, incredible customer service, reliable every time. Kim & her amazing sushi chef husband are always kind, always accommodating, and always fast at preparing generous-sized sushi rolls AND nigiri, with options for substitutions! My husband loves their delish Yakisoba noodles for lunch. There are 2 other sushi joints in Tierrasanta with smaller rolls, more expensive prices, and "fishy smelling" sushi (without naming names). But for dine-in AND take out (GrubHub will also deliver) KAKI SUSHI RULES ABOVE ALL OTHERS!!!

Cute and cozy, food and service is very good. Prices are great - especially compared to any other sushi in Tierrasanta. Keep up the good work, my new go-to sushi in town as of June 2023.
Rolls here were just ok. Ordered the Las Vegas, spicy rainbow and a few others. Also got the teriyak chicken bento. My kids were not a fan of the bento, which is odd because they usually love it. I think it wasn't seasoned the way teriyaki usually is? Also, the portion of chicken is pretty small. The bathroom is also outside the restaurant.

A great Japanese restaurant at the west end of Vons shopping center at the corner of Clairemont Mesa & Santo Rd. Kaki Sushi is a nice place for a delicious bento box with a variety of tastes to satisfy your cravings.
