We visited this place last weekend. It was our first time there, and food was great. Luckily I looked at their menu ahead of time. We got there around lunch, server that greeted us upfront asked us what ayce menu we wanted. Sat down already ordered our drinks and was wondering why the lunch special is not available anymore, luckily the table beside us confirmed they do have a lunch special and shared there menu. When I asked the server why we never get offered that, his reason is they are out of the menus. Atmosphere is a 3 cause it was hot. The a/c was down or wasn't working and they only had a small fan and the doors wide open to circulate air in the restaurant. Food made up for it and we'll give them another shot, someday.

The place is so loud we literally had to scream at each other across a table for four. The food is fine, same as most kbbq, service was okay.

Best kbbq I've had in San diego. They can get overwhelmed some days but they always manage to take care of us.

Benjamin the manager ,was helpful and friendly. Server forget her name was great she kept bringing the food we had ordered. At times when she was busy a robot would deliver it. An awesome atmosphere and friendly staff.

Man what a shame! Here in town on work after driving 2200 mi from Chicago. After I booked my hotel earlier in the day about 8 hours out started looking for a restaurant close by that was open late. To my surprise there was a Korean barbecue joint right next door which was absolutely perfect. I always consider a kbbq like a celebration meal which was definitely called for after such a long drive. Restaurants states open until 10:30 and I swiftly arrived as quickly as possible at 9:15 p.m.. I was greeted by a very nice young lady and asked for a table for one which she quickly told me they no longer take people after 9:00 p.m. I thought this was kind of strange being open until 10:30 so I tried to reason with her and explain it's only me I'm by myself and I'll be out of here very quickly won't even order that much I was very excited to eat there can you make an exception? I even showed her my work truck which was outside but still no budging. I noticed there was about 7 or 8 tables that had guests already eating or just ordering their food and probably about 40 other tables that were empty so they were definitely not that busy. Now look I can't even be mad at her because she's probably just doing her job but I believe that in the service industry especially in the restaurant industry you have to have a little compassion and sometimes go the extra mile which I wasn't even asking for much. Anyways I ended up going to eat next door and even after I was finished with my meal I had to walk past their restaurant back to my vehicle which I noticed there were still groups eating inside. Not sure why they couldn't just make this small exception. I guess every restaurant works their own way and makes their own rules so no hard feelings about that but definitely disappointed about the lack of compassion and willingness to accommodate.

Very high quality meats and marinades for a fair price. The top blade steak and galbi are a must try. There is also a lot of sides to choose from, the Kimchi is nice and spicy, very flavorful.

Service was also great, our server was fast and very frequent with the grill changes. Restaurant is a good size and has a very hip comforting atmosphere. It is kind of a hidden gem, I love it.

Had a great dining experience overall! The meats were flavorful, the sides were fresh, and the service was friendly and attentive. 👏

The only downside for me was the kimchi — it was a bit too saucy and lacked that traditional crispness and tang that makes Korean BBQ complete. In a Korean restaurant, having solid kimchi is essential, so that took away one star.

Still, a good spot to satisfy that K-BBQ craving! 🥩🔥

Disappointing Experience – Will Not Return

Today’s visit was frustrating from start to finish. We waited far too long to be seated despite having checked in, and once we sat down, it took another 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. We told our server up front that we were on a tight schedule and would appreciate faster service. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen.

Each round of meat took 15+ minutes to arrive, and this continued throughout the meal. It felt like the kitchen was intentionally slowing down the pace to limit how much guests could eat, which is disappointing for an all-you-can-eat spot. Our server was even switched midway through—likely due to how backed up everything was—but the delays continued.

We spent more time eating rice and corn than anything else, which defeats the purpose of coming to Korean BBQ. I brought my family from out of town expecting a good experience, and I regret it. We’ll be taking our business elsewhere from now on.

Hidden gem in RB. There is no need to go to Mira Mesa yet alone, Convoy. Service is excellent, and food selection is great. Highly recommend 👌 👍
