Visiting my hometown means experiencing some of the best seafood around, and Karina's Cantina GETS IT. The food is great, the atmosphere is rad, and the people are kind! Can't wait to keep coming back for every hometown holiday!

Samantha was our waiter and she was awesome! It was my bday and she gave me a lil dessert! I made a reservation for six people and my full party wasn't there right away but they accommodated either way. We order yummy appetizers while we waited and luckily got some drinks and appetizers at happy hour prices. We ordered surf & turf tacos, Karina's green salsa (w/ cheese!), molcajete especial, bacon wrapped jumbo shrimp, shrimp burrito, and the carnitas plate. Everyone loved their food. As always, Karina's has high quality standards for their food and presentation. Opentable was easy to use to book our reservation, very user friendly. I highly recommend both Opentable and Karina's Cantina.

Love the vibe of this location, it is beautiful inside and always has great music playing. The ceviches are always good at all the Karina's locations. My favorite thing to order here is the the ceviche trio!

Fun place for lunch, has Vegas vibes - loud music videos playing and interesting & cool decor! Food was delicious, had ceviche, shrimp and pastor tacos. Service was so so, we waited a long time to get the bill even though it seemed like there was plenty of staff around. Good lunch overall though.

I sat at the half-filled bar top for 15 min waiting for someone to just give me a menu and not a single server would even look over my way, unfortunately. There were 4 bartenders, and 3 of them were standing around and looking around bored. 1 was working incredibly hard and was clearly busy picking up the slack from everyone else. After it became clear I wasn’t getting any service, I got up and left and took my business elsewhere.

My wife and I agreed this is the absolute worst restaurant experience we've had in our entire lives. Zero Service, waited over an hour and a half for really bad cold food. The noise was so loud you couldn't hear yourself think.

I just had a delicious Michelada and some tacos at Karina‘s Cantina in the gaslamp district of San Diego! Delicious!! They have excellent Mexican food, a really fun atmosphere, and check out the rim job on these Micheladas!!! #FoodieSanDiego
