It was my first time trying Mexican ceviche and I was shocked haha.
Since San Diego borders Mexico, there is a Mexican town, so I ordered an Uber and was surprised at how sour it was.. Since this is what Mexicans make steamed, I think it tastes like the mainland.. Mexicans eat it so sour.. instargram: @sixtyjung

Literally some of the best food my family and I have ever had. We were visiting San Diego and looking for a place that served micheladas - thankfully it led us here!! We were pleased with the unique seating arrangement and atmosphere, and when we tried the food, we lost our minds. The ahí tuna tostada was especially good - the tuna was so fresh, taste was perfectly balanced, and the tostada itself was unlike any I have ever tried, so crispy and flaky yet strong enough to hold the heavy serving of fish on top. We will definitely be visiting San Diego again, just to come to Karina’s!!

This is my stop for steak ribeye tacos. Their fish tacos are bomb, too.

I ordered delivery from Karina’s and everything was delicious. The ceviche plate and spicy crispy shrimp were fresh and amazing. The tacos were all solid, with the fish tacos being my favorite. The surf and turf, bacon-wrapped shrimp, rib eye, lobster tacos, and ahi poke tostada were great. Overall, a good experience, and I’d recommend giving it a try.

When in SD don’t skip the higher area of India st known as the international restaurants row, and Karina’s will be there, so good, we eat the ahi tuna tostada and the shrimp, octopus something else taco. The Jamaica water was not so great thought. Maybe because we got there like 20 min before closing time and it was very diluted, but the rest was very good. We will be back.

Parking: You shared seat/ spaces with the restaurants around, quite a few.

*Incredible and spicy* camaron enchilado tacos!!! Five stars for that taco. We also had the barria taco which we can't recommend - something about it was off for us. Seriously though, five stars for service and that camaron taco!!

Every time I’m in San Diego, this place is my first stop. it’s conveniently located just down the street from the airport. You can’t go wrong with their traditional fish tacos, which are always spot-on. This time, I tried their surf and turf tacos for the first time, and they were excellent, Highly recommend this spot. It might be a little busy, but it’s absolutely worth it. Great food, great location definitely a must visit.

Ok. Quick service, ceviche was nothing special. Carnitas was dry and no salsa verde 👎
The burritos are pretty pricey, ordered a rotisserie chicken burrito (which strangely comes with spicy mayo?) and added beans for a total pre-tip cost of $18. It was not worth the price, as it lacked flavor and was nothing special. The beans were just regular refried beans , priced at 3.50 for a side.

We got ahi tostada and shrimp aguachile, and hated the taste of both dishes. Definitely not worth the 4.5 stars this place has at this time. The dishes are awful, and you can find more authentic dishes within San Diego.

The shrimp ceviche has very SMALL amount of shrimp, is pretty much just pico. They are getting more stingy every time. NOT WORTH IT YOU ARE GOING TO GET JUST PICO WITH KETCHUP.
