Went for a retirement party. Had people who started a tab at the bar but they made us all combine to one, then would not split up, so one bill had everything even though started separately. Server was not seen often.

Ahi poke nachos, chili lime sweet potato fries…great appetizers i always just get them as meals. The wings are wack so is the pub burger. Not great. Beer sausages r great. The food overall is a hit for me. So is the ambiance esp outside sitting by the fire, underneath heaters.

I love this place. Burgers are delicious, salads and also the salmon is pretty good. Also the beer is really good too. No complains about the food.However they recently changed to a waiters system and everyone seems to be lost. I came and sit for several minutes, several waiters passed by and none of them reach out or lend me a menu. I was just sitting there like a stupid waiting for them.I had to order online from the QR in the table.Honestly, just go back to the old system if you can’t handle a waiters service. They don’t know what to do (at least some of them) since I have had a nice service from one of them once.

Order everything at the bar? Okay. Ordered dinner, drinks and dessert. Well the dessert came out first before anything. That was odd. Waiter walked around with my food not knowing where to drop it off and Al went back in the kitchen. 10 min later my food came out again, I don't even know who I should be tipping. Somebody deserves a tip but the way it is structured. I have no ide who deserves just the tip. Will o go back? Maybe. I'll just sit at the bar for my beers. At least I know I can tip my bartender

Most restaurants in town have resumed normal operations POST-COVID. Unfortunately, Karl Strauss in 4S Ranch continues to operate like Fuddruckers POST-COVID.This location has approximately 20+ seats around the bar, but only allows for 6. Pre COVID, the bar area hosted regular patrons. Now, everyone has found other accommodating locations.I hope the management at 4S Ranch seriously reconsiders their current and future business operations.Thanks.
