I met my Comic-Con friends for a late lunch before preview night. We had to sit outside, which was fine until the sun sank low enough to hit us right in the eyes! The food and beer was first rate. I highly recommend the poke nachos and fish and chips.

The food! No exaggeration, bets pork chops I have ever had in my life! The sauce, the cook, the flavor! I also had the skirt stake. Super tender and amazing. The mashed potatoes were a little plain on the start, but it came with arugula. I kid you not, you must have the arugula with each bits. My brain could not make sense of it, but the flavor of the combination was perfect. I will be trying this at home for sure!

After reading some reviews, because it was close to our hotel, we gave KSBC a try.
Well, that turned out to be a good idea!
Ricco, an interested waiter, came to have a nice chat. He recommended the beer-brined pork chops. My husband has never had such delicious pork chops!

If you are looking for a great meal with amazing beer, I highly recommend Karl Strauss. One of the best steaks I have ever had!!!! Their beer offerings are incredible and they are quick to offer sample pours.
