This was my first time trying kava!

A friend of mine suggested this place when I told him that I wasn't drinking. I've seen this place a thousand times, but never really checked it out. We went in and the bartender (what do you call them??) gave me a sample of their OG kava since I've never had one before. I did not like it, but perhaps that's what it's supposed to taste like? The customer next to me said that the OG is usually too strong for a first-timer.

My friend suggested trying the "cocktail" version and yes this turned out good! It was a little sweet and served on ice, it was a great, relaxing, refreshing drink.

We managed to find a couple of seats by the bar. The place is always packed, but everyone here was very friendly; they would make space for you to squeeze in, chatted with you etc. Seemed like a good place to meet new people.

They also have a cabinet full of board games!

Great spot. My first time having Kava. Everyone there was very nice and friendly. I would be back. There. Have many rooms and also host NA and codependency meetings. They also have a tree inside and a patio to smoke that is decorated and cute.

Had my first ever cup of kava here and they gave it to me for free. Tasted better than expected. Chill vibes.

I really love this place. My wife and I have been going here for a while now. When we got sober, we were looking for an alternative to be at a bar and drinking alcohol, and this fulfill all of that. We get a nice medicinal drink and are able to relax. Listen to some good music and talk to the incredible staff here. I hear they are even looking to start some karaoke, open mic nights, and even have a trivia night coming up.

Great place, good vibe, but that Kava stuff is the worst beverage I've ever had and it's really expensive

What a treat!
Thanks Glenn and amazing staff. I walked in looking for zen and they made me feel like I came home from war! So kind and their Mango Peach Kava Bowl, is so delicious and instant calm. In the back patio, Brian greeted me as he is preparing for Pride! Best place to come, for sure!! The atmosphere starts the calm for sure. Something for everyone. I will be back, for sure. Thanks again. ?

Love this place! I'd give 5 stars but they REALLY need to install an "ordering station". I'm sure A LOT of people would agree, having to order THROUGH and OVER people sitting at the front of the bar is very ackward and off putting.

Best place to get a quality kava. Very busy, but in a good way-weekday and weekend nights around 7. Back outdoor patio. Many people bring laptops. They have a big meeting room on the side w self help meetings. Free Drink Bingo on Tuesdays and you can win a 16 oz drink. Near Public transport and parking available behind and in the general area. Staff can always help you choose a drink if your new, and other healthy beverages are available. Amazing place.

I love that there are so many places to sit and concentrate on whatever it is that you brought to do. All customers have been so friendly too. I love this product.

Honestly, I am just not sure I totally “get it”. Wandered in here with a friend. It’s an atmosphere similar to a bar, everyone inside was socializing. It’s all very low key but everyone is drinking this. Kava, if you’ve never tried it, is a very acquired taste. The menu mentions the historical and cultural significance of this drink, which makes me wonder about this type of setting. In any case, you walk up to the bar and order directly. The drink is probably better flavored (we tried it in all its natural glory) but again, maybe it’s typically not consumed so casually. With just a couple of sips, my lips and throat were tingling. It was a fairly relaxing experience, but I’m not so sure it was for me.

First time trying Kava. Absolutely worth the hype. I've been slowing down on alcohol and I feel like this is a perfect supplement. Ill will definitely be back

Kava is banned in many countries due to liver toxicity. My son unwittingly took some and got a bad liver tox and reaction. Dangerous stuff

Been going to this place for years and it’s my favorite local cafe. Love the atmosphere and the diversity of people that it brings in. From ufc fight nights, to bingo night, to kava ceremonies, with the occasional DJ and dance party. It’s definitely my go to spot to hang out and relax and mingle with good people. Staff is great, all the kava tenders and the owner are good genuine people. And it’s definitely a happening place during baseball and football season as I can always count on them having the game on. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area, there’s no other place that you’ll find quite like this one. Truly one of a kind.

Love! Such a warm and cozy funky place to hang. Board games and plenty of kava and art! Two ares with lots of cozy seating as well as stools at the kava bar; outside patio as well. There is a small parking lot in the back; plenty of metered parking.
