More nostalgic than anything... traditional Irish pub

I walked into this establishment as a stranger and left a friend to almost everyone in the room. It's a dive but it's a very cool place.

During my visit to San Diego, I found the best bar. The staff was amazing, the drinks were on point, and the food was really good. They also have 2 pool tables.

Stopped in for a quick beer while waiting for a friend around 4pm on a Saturday. The bartender was nice/friendly, the tables were clean and there were about a dozen patrons inside. They have 2 pool tables and lots of TVs for sports. The only surprise/negative was the cost for two pints of Stella was $20, which was higher than expected. Would be interesting to see how busy the bar would get in the evening or at night.

A great neighborhood hood dive bar with better than expected food. If you're a local, get over here. If you're from out if town but staying with locals driving you crazy, sneak out and come here. If you're from far away looking for an amazing dining experience during your vacation in San Diego, and a place to have an Instagram worthy evening, I recommend elsewhere.

We have been looking for a local place to play cheap pool and we love Kelly's! Sometimes it's hard to get a table in the evening but that is typical for dive bars. We love getting the happy hour pretzels with the yummy beer cheese. And of course the cheap beer pitchers. For the food, so far we have tried the cheesesteak, reuben and turkey burger and they did not disappoint. We will be coming back soon!

Great bar, great service, and classic pub vibes to watch the game! Bartender is super attentive to all patrons and food/drinks come out in an efficient and timely manner. If you want a bar with great service,good food, and a place with classic pub vibes in SD... Kelly's pub is the place to be!
