This place is great. Food is authentic and delicious! I recommend their mushroom Kantisha Kilwa dish. They cater to vegans and offer a wide selection of vegan food. The owner is an absolute gem, very welcoming and will walk you through their menu if you aren't sure about their dishes. They are also open for breakfast.

We did the dinner for two. The portions are large and the food was amazing. The staff were so welcoming and helpful with explaining the different dishes. It seems like many of these dishes are available in the sister restaurant, but here the prices are much lower with a more casual dining atmosphere. Excited to come back to try more.

Delicious food paired with amazing customer service! My family and I walked in earlier tonight, not realizing it was only a few minutes before closing. The owner of the restaurant graciously offered several dishes to try, suggestions on the menu, and dropped several great parenting pearls of wisdom. He even allowed my kids to help make their own desserts. I didn't even realize it was supposed to be closed for an hour until I saw the posted hours just as we were paying. The lamb and chicken dishes were great, but I would come back just to eat the mushroom appetizer again. Even my son who hates mushrooms couldn't stop eating the mushroom and spaghetti squash appetizer. Looking forward to another visit!
