Don't bother asking for anything special with your reservation, like outdoor seating. We didn't get what we asked for since ours was a special occasion.

My overall experience was that it is an average restaurant in a beautiful location. The food was good but not exceptional and it wasn't overly expensive. Would likely visit again.

Love the patio setting at Ketch. Interesting selection of food on the menu - most was excellent. I had the pistachio crusted salmon. It was excellent except for the asparagus. Love asparagus, but whomever prepared it included the really tough ends rather than trimming it back to the more tender portion. Others at the table had the Swordfish (very well prepared & tasty), another had the steak, was good, another had the cheeseburger with fries and green beans on the side and we shared the faro salad. It was excellent. Nice beer and wine selection, but the wine was VERY overpriced. Very good wait staff. Hostesses seemed a bit distracted, and were unable to seem to remember us (the only people in the waiting area) as we rec'd the text our table was ready. Friendly enough though.

What a wonderful afternoon spent on the patio!! Allison and Isabel are lovely members of the very attentive staff.. the menu is not overwhelming and knowing the chef and his team are willing to switch out any fish protein for chicken makes this a perfect place for all to meet and dine... the patio is so relaxing. We are having a birthday celebration in a couple of weeks and we could not be happier choosing this to be a dinner locale..

Ketch was wonderful as usual! We were seated at a great table near the water and the food was delicious! Perfect summer night in San Diego!

I've been to this location many times, this experience wasn't the best between the long wait times for service - and when I got service it seemed very cold and short. Additionally I'm a big fan of the fish and chips. I've ordered it many times and this time the fish and fries came out lukewarm and tasted like they were reheated in a microwave. I understand things happen but this visit was disappointing to say the least.

Came for a weekday lunch we were able to get a lovely table outside! Food and drinks were great, I got oysters and a beet salad plus a raspberry mojito and a draft mule. Loved that we were able to reserve a table for our party of 6 adults and 2 children. We were also celebrating 2 birthdays and got 2 complimentary desserts. We will be back!!

We had such a great lunch! Carson was an awesome server, super attentive and helpful and a great positive attitude! The food was great and the view was gorgeous. Can't wait to come back!

Start with the positive. Service was attentive and our server was generally wonderful. The food was a mixed bag. The short rib melt had very little mat and wasn't really a melt. It was basically flavorless beef smeared on white toast, the kind of toast you'd expect next to a couple of over-easy eggs at your favorite greasy spoon. The Louie salad was pretty good, but not enough to save the visit, and we'd never go back just for the service. Ambience with the views to the marina are a plus.

Visited Ketch again before our concert at Humphrys again, and the experience was outstanding. My wife had oysters and crab cakes, I had the blackened swordfish tacos and we started with a pretzel. All were outstanding! The gals behind the bar are a cut above most other, even better restaurants in SD. Just top notch cocktails and bar service all the way around.

The food and service are terrific. The food is plunked down on bare tables not at all appetizing. They need to improve that table ambience with some decor.

Table for 10 on the veranda was perfect for a graduation celebration. Lovely location overlooking the marina.

Had brunch on Mother's Day, very beautiful view on the balcony and nice service. However, the food wasn't amazing. My mom's was flavorless and my food was cold. A bit disappointed in that aspect. If the food was hot and more flavorful would've been a 10/10 experience for sure!

Great Mother's Day Brunch with a large party of 9. Sitting outside we perfect, we could have a good conversation and got great service. Only improvement would be to have a dedicated fryer for non-gluten items so there are more offerings for Gluten Free diners.

We come here 4 to 5 times a month We really like everything about this restaurant! You will not be disappointed⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
