My cousin ordered Chicken Tenders from the kids menu, he got a Chicken Salad. They said they'd come out with it in a minute. ITS BEEN 30 MINUTES!! We ordered like an hour ago. Our waitress was outstanding.

Loved it here! Nice chill atmosphere, with beautiful views, old fashions were great, menu was unique with good pricing. Everything I ordered was delicious. By far one of the best waiters I've ever had, Trevor! Thank you! Loved the place so much, I came back the next day. Happy hour had a lot of great appetizers. Sat at the bar the second time. Been here a few times, this is an excellent place to enjoy the seaside view. I've had the kale & farro, clam chowder and seafood omelette so far. Respectable portion sizes, it's going to fill you up for the price. Met a beautiful server Athena who your heart will skip a beat to was attentive to my requests no matter how busy it was. I recommend requesting her when she's there

Came in a few weeks ago and had the octopus, not super flavorful, carrots were undercooked. My friend had the short rib and they were pretty tough, with not a lot of flavor. Service was good but for the price of these meals I would expect quality to be a little better.

Near/walkable from our hotel (Humphreys). We ate outside, under a heat lamp (which helped keep us toasty). The atmosphere was a 3 ... but the food was a 7! OMG! We split the macadamia nut crusted mahi ... was plenty of food and fabulous! The pineapple burre blanc was drinkable! SO GOOD! We also shared the wedge salad ... meh. I make a better one - it needed walnuts. But, the mahi was GREAT.

The Ketch was amazing for our retirement gathering. Megan James the Asst. GM was very accommodating thru every step of the planning and execution. The side area was perfectly set up and ready early. The pre ordered food was hot, fresh and tasted delicious! The two waitresses we had were attentive, ready with a smile and very knowledgeable about the foods and drinks the Ketch had to offer. The bar staff was quick with the drinks and they were made to perfection. We had 25+ for the occasion, everyone had a great time, couldn't have been happier with the location and atmosphere the Ketch provided. Big thanks to everyone at Ketch for making this a memorable day. We will be using this location for our future gatherings!! Highly recommend the Ketch on Point Loma if you are planning any occasion.

The location is outstanding. Service was fair to poor. We had to seek out the hostess after she told us she was setting up our table. Apparently, she went on break without telling anyone. Our server wasn't able to get back to our table so waters were empty, and we had to wave down others for extra condiments and such. My son's burger was under the heat lamp so long that his cole slaw was hot. Food was otherwise very good. We loved the brussels and buffalo cauliflower. My short ribs were very tasty and great portion. The kale salad was fresh and tasty. I assume the service was a one off and maybe they were a little short staffed but it was a bummer for an otherwise nice evening.

Very modern and attractive open air setting. The patio on the water is great and design quite successfully brings the outdoors inside on a cool spring evening. We loved on our first visit which will definitely not be our last.Service was excellent too on a quiet Monday evening without a reservation.I normally have a fish entree and the oysters were tempting. But for some reason I chose the burger. It was delicious.They have a pretty good selection of wines by the glass, including a red blend called Pessimist which I buy by the bottle for home when it's available. Do try it. It is excellent!

Sally & I each ordered a Wedge Salad, I asked for extra fixings on my salad , not a problem, then we split a French Dip both dishes were excellent, Bloody Mary was great tasting , Margaritas were very tasty but a bit smallKid-friendliness: Seemed like it was Ok for kids , wouldn't suggest sml children , not because the establishment wouldn't allow, but for me I go there for a Serene , Relaxing & the View

Went there with a group of 4 for a Sunday night dinner. Buffalo wings were good. Fried pickle spears were good. The pretzel with the beer cheese (which was very soupy) was meh. Buffalo cauliflower was a big hit with the table also. Good views being right on the water. Expensive. $280 which includes tip for 3 full beers (Dr Billheimers magic pilsner, which was really good), 2 flights totaling 6 - 4oz pours, 5 alcoholic drinks and 7 appetizers. Would eat there again.

I ordered 2 rounds of $14 spicy pineapple margarita, and asked for sub the tequila to mezcal. The server didn’t mention anything about extra charge.When I get the bill, they charged me $20.50 per drink. it says $18.50 mezcal + $2 cucumber pineapple on the bill. I asked the server, told him I will appreciate if he can tell me it will be $6 more per drink when I order them..It was ridiculous.
