We recently visited Ketch Grill & Taps and tried the spicy chicken burger. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to its “spicy” description, as it wasn’t spicy at all. However, the burger itself was still flavorful and satisfying. The fries that came with it were crispy and delicious, and the sautéed greens were a nice touch—fresh and well-seasoned.
One of the highlights of our visit was the stunning ocean view. It really added to the experience, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal with a beautiful backdrop. Overall, Ketch Grill & Taps offers a nice atmosphere and solid food, but the spice level on the burger could definitely use some improvement.

Our family ate here for Christmas Eve and it was such a great memory! The fresh fish was delicious and our kids found something they enjoyed too.
Beautiful waterfront views and the ambiance was spot on.
Our server was friendly and attentive and made our dinner extra special!

The food was abysmal. The Mahi had no seasoning and the risotto had zero flavor as well. My husband got the Tuna and there was no flavor either and whatever came under it was extremely soggy. Left playing $106 dollars and only took like 4 bites of the food. Horrible, will never come back

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! Service was amazing, the food was just so delicious and fresh, beautiful view of the boardwalk and some of the harbour. Absolutely loved coming here for lunch!
We have been going to Ketch in point Loma for years and really love the food. Unfortunately our experience at this location on the waterfront was disappointing. The grilled short rib sandwich was barely grilled, very little meat, American cheese that wasn’t melted and almost no sauce. Something you would expect from a cheap diner. Also, a couple of people in our group asked for the gluten free option thinking they had gluten free bread only to get a pile of lettuce with shredded rib meat.
Dietary restrictions: No gluten free options for Bloody Mary and all they do for the sandwiches is leave off the bread / bun.
