We were greeted quickly and directed to the 2nd floor bar where we were able to relax outside with a cocktail, all while enjoying the fresh air from the bay. Once seated for dinner, our waitress was really amazing! She knew the menu intimately and was very confident in assisting in navigating through our experience! We chose 4-5 items and she chose the others. EVERYTHING was fantastic! Standouts were the Spicy Shrimp and the halibut fish sandwich (which we ordered a 2nd time for all 4 of us!) The grand Finale was the Bone-in Ribeye! We all shared it and it was the BEST steak I have ever experienced! For a special occasion Kettner Exchange is my go-to and really between atmosphere, service and mesmerizing food, is the Best SD has to offer in this food genre. Also, valet parking is only $10! In Little Italy, are you kidding me?! Reality of the bill= $600-800 for 4 people sharing the most expensive entree, drinking cocktails and sharing all 3 desserts Amazing! They earned that 2024 Michelin Star 🎉💛⭐️

11 AM reservation on Sunday of Labor Day weekend, upstairs seating overlooking the bay as best as our view could be. Service was impeccable, food was devine, atmosphere classy and welcoming. Don't pass up the egg salad with tomato jam on toast, it's a must have :)

We ordered four plates in total and only found one of the four to be really good, the other were average and one we were not able to finish due to the strange texture. While you don't go to places. Like this for affordable meals, I did not find the price to quality worth it. All in all I'm glad we tried it but would not return or recommend it with so many other options nearby.

The ambience was unique, but elegant. We came early and offered a place at the bar while we were waiting. The bartender was knowledgeable and receptive to any questions we had. We had an excellent drink and then proceeded to our dinner upstairs and a very scenic room of the harbor. Our waiter received us and helped us to get acquainted with the menu which we chose tapas and had four delicious and unique meals that we were able to share together and enjoy together. The food was delicious and each dish just added to the pleasant atmosphere. We both had our own wine pairings for the meals we had.. We sat in a booth. It was very comfortable and we were able to enjoy ourselves in our meal in comfort. We enjoyed a dessert. It was very unique and we sat back and chatted for a while before we chose to leave. They didn't seem to be any rush for us to leave the table. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we totally enjoyed it!

Everything about this place is superb. I highly recommend the roasted eggplant, the burrata, the Budino and the lava cake. Valet is $10, make sure you tip them at drop off since they are gone when you leave. Oops.
