Loved their drinks (the cocktails were lovely!) but was a bit bummed this time around by the lack of vegan options. We ended up grabbing food elsewhere, but still had a great evening. Hoping they add more plant-based choices next time. I'll definitely be back for those drinks!
Our server was great. Very attentive, friendly and helped us understand what the food experience would be like. The food was better than I expected. Kettner exchange has been around for a long time in San Diego. I was actually expecting an over priced, sub par food and service experience. But I was pleasantly surprised by the food and the aura. It was good. And leaving the restaurant around 9:45 pm was great energy. Super crowded, everyone was dressed up enjoying an evening out....
The food was delicious - so inventive with a different spin on a few classic dishes. The tapas menu allowed us to try a lot of different dishes which was fun and yummy. Mandy, our server, did an excellent job of guiding us to order the right amounts of each dish, too, so we really had no leftovers!! We had a wonderful round table which made it easy to share and also to have a conversation. Service was attentive and friendly but not hovering! My only complaint was that the guests...
