Whenever I am in town this is my go to restaurant. It is a great place to gather with friends and family. We always experience great food, fun, and lots of laughs.

Calamari was delicious, prepared nicely. The fish & chips along with the salad was delicious. The dumplings were ok. The tequila sunrise hit the spot. It's a nice place considering it's in a strip mall. Worth a trip.

Nice old school environment... kinda has a Cheers (tv show) vibe. Parking is tough at dinner time. Place was pretty packed. It's an older and dated looking place on the inside. The service was good. The food was subpar. Nothing tastes good nor looked appetizing. I ordered short ribs and they came out less than 5 minutes later.

3/5/2024 Khans Cave Asian Tavern & Grill ate the Chow Mein with Beef , good quality ingredients and it was delicious. Best I ever tried in all of San Diego. Nice and well kept bar & restaurant. Had an ice cold Sapporo and later a glass of Pinot Noir. Shout out to Cameron & Tony great service and all around good vibes & energy . Will be recommending Khans to friends & family. Looking forward to trying out rest of their menu.

I went back and forth on the rating as the service was great, but the food was ok. No wow factor in the food. The menu has a little bit of everything which threw me off bc I wasn't sure what flavor to expect then. Out of the items ordered I will say the sauted green beans and fried calamari were good. That says a lot about the calamari bc I don't like calamari. I ordered the fish sandwich which only had flavored due to the tartar sauce. I know most places don't add any seasoning to the breading, but it would have been nice for the fish to have had some type of seasoning. Place was packed due to it being a Saturday evening, but I feel this place would be packed any time during happy hour and dinner.

I took some clients in and was recommended to have the duck. It was the best!!!! The fried rice was great too.
Went Friday night for my 3rd visit .. Sat at the bar again, good locals and the bar tender is sooooooo good . Well worth your visit. Thank you !
