Went here for my son's 21st birthday and only 1 nice lady running the whole joint..cooking serving and it was OUTSTANDING!!! The food was fresh from the sushi to the kimchi and seaweed salad!!! We live in Arizona but my son is stationed in Camp Pendleton and he will be definitely returning on his days off and us as a family again when we go back in February!!!

They never disappoint. I’ve been coming here for years.
A very nice and conveniently located sushi restaurant. Our server provided us aptly service and even gave us a free appetizer that she made herself. The tempura roll is amazing! Excited to come back here again
Service was good and polite and attentive on listening on your order. With a warm friendly customer service. Food was well served quick and excellent prepared.

Food was soo tastey! Like a home cooked meal! Got the the dragon roll, kimchi Kimbap and Tteokbokki. Tteokbokki was sweet and just the right amount of spicy with amazing texture. She makes her own kimchi from scratch and sells it to go. Buy the Large, thank me later. 1 L beer, 1 strawberry soju, 1 hot tea, it was the perfect meal for me and my fionce. 10/10 can’t wait to go back!

went there last night at about 11:50pm, the server/cook was great, had great attitude and was timely. the food was awesome. the only thing i’d change about this place is the decor/organization but the food is 10/10

We saw the kitchen on the way out which explains the food poisoning we got. It was filthy, and one person after seeing it commented that he hopes we don't get sick. Everyone who went got it, two separate households.

I just ate sushi last night in West Milwaukee WI at Spicy Tuna and it was SO SO much more fresh... Which is sad since this is San Diego.
Also, I was trying to call to complain but no one picks up the phone despite the fact they're still open.
I want my money back for at least the nigiri and edamame. Also, the miso soup had only 2 pieces of tofu, and they were grey in color. ? GROSS

This place is a dump with high prices and VERY skimpy portions. An ahi poke bowl is $19 with no option on what to get in it. The amount of ahi in the bowl was extremely miserly. The location on University by the entrance to the freeway is AWFUL, and the place has an overall appearance of being dirty. Go someplace else!!
