The trout almondine was spectacular. We also had sides of Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes which equaled the entree. Our server was very helpful and entertaining All in all, a great experience

Exceptional service from our server, delicious and fresh seafood. We plan to come back again!

Great food! I would like to see more ocean-caught fish on the market vs farmed-raised fish!

Excellent Old School fish restaurant. Kings is a very comfortable, slightly upscale, welcoming place for families but also suitable for anyone celebrating a special occasion. The staff is always friendly and our server Keith went out of his way to make sure my grandchildren got everything they needed (including a fancy kid drink with cherries :) He was attentive and our food arrived hot and just the way we ordered it. He enjoyed talking with the kids which was nice since at some restaurants they get ignored. The food was really good as usual--the trout amandine is my favorite. You get 2 sides with most entrees and it's nice to have a choice. The kids menu has lots of options. (The only minor criticism is that the grilled scallop entree should have had more scallops for the price.) We always love eating at Kings :)

Met with an old friend whom I hadn't seen in a long while. Our server was fantastic, she did not interrupt us or move us along but was there when we needed her. I wish I had her name. Kudos. We both had the fish n chips and it was great Thank you, we'll be back!

The food was delicious as always, we asked for a special meal for a vegetarian in the group and they knocked it out of the park with a great pasta and grilled vegetable combination. They should add that to the menu. I think it would be very popular. The server not so good, she must have been having an off day.

The food was fantastic. A large selection of fish and sides. They bring out homeade bread to start, and all for of us enjoyed our meals. The one recommendation I would say is leave room for dessert. Their butter cake and bread pudding is out of this world.

We were on the porch, which was nice. Our food was excellent, and our waiter did a nice job.

We went here with a party of 8 for my sons 15th birthday. I called ahead of time and spoke to the manager Carlos, and he said he'd take care of us. We had a nice reserved space out on the patio and had 5 star service. I was able to hang a banner behind the table and bring my own cake which he kept in the back until it was time to sing! The food was great, and Carlos even brought out a live lobster afterwards. I highly recommend Kings Fish House for any event, especially if you ask for Carlos. He really made it fantastic!

Ordered the surf and turf , with sides of grilled asparagus and corn . The filet migon was cooked to my liking , and the lobster tail was most and tender . The asparagus was and corn were nice and crunchy , not like reviews have mentioned . And the service was impeccable . Our waiter was fantastic . Will be going back when I’m back in mission valley .

This is the place to go for seafood in San Diego. Nothing bad at all in our order of Cajun shrimp, macadamia crusted, halibut, and raw oysters. We also enjoyed excellent cocktails, and great service.
