This is the place to go for seafood in San Diego. Nothing bad at all in our order of Cajun shrimp, macadamia crusted, halibut, and raw oysters. We also enjoyed excellent cocktails, and great service.
This is our go to place for fish and ambience! We love the food here. Our server Yesenia was delightful and so for very helpful. Helped out with any questions we had. She was very attentive, making sure we had everything we need. We highly recommend Kings Fish House for delicious for and service!!
The food was very, very good. The beet salad is better than any I have had before. The Tuna Poke was also excellent! What topped it all off was our server, Ash. Fabulous service with a smile!
Food was good but way too expensive. I hadn't been to the restaurant in awhile and was stunned at the cost. I won't come back.
4 of us went for my birthday on 8/28. I had a reservation and we were seated promptly. Even though I reserved outside, it was too hot and they had no problem giving us inside and it was much more pleasant. Our server was great! She was friendly and always had a smile. It was my birthday and she told me about my birthday surprise desert. I had the bread puddy and it was really good. All in all it was a delightful experience and I would go back, for sure.
Previously I was at the King Fish House in Mission Valley/San Diego and the service was horrible. Upon my complaint, they have taken care of the service. It was superb and the food cooked to perfection. Thank you for listening to your customers.
Keith took very good care of us and I felt like I was in my living room. The food was great and desert too. Ambiance was also really cool. If I lived here I'd be in twice a week.
THE LOBSTER CLAM BAKE IS BACK! They have even improved this favorite of ours by upsizing the clams and presenting everything on a large platter. Love this combination- sausage, corn, and potatoes complete the goodies that surround a lobster.
I haven't been to King's Fish House in a while. I was there with a couple of friends for my birthday celebration. The food was excellent service was attentive. The place was quiet for a Tuesday evening. My only negative feedback would be that the table top in the booth we sat in, table A13, was in need of a deep cleansing. It had a layer of grime that could be written in. I'm adding a picture to show.
The server assigned to me was awesome. She periodically checked on me and my date which was great to see and have that kind of service. I'm definitely going back and letting friends know about the Fish House.

very pleasant dining, with interesting cocktail menu, food was well done and service was friendly and timely
The Alaskan Halibut was prepared exactly the way we like, on the "well done" side. The side salad was very good too.
Love King's Fish House. The Mexican seabass and shrimp are especially good. Kenneth is a wonderful waiter! Bring a bottle of wine. There is no corkage fee.
Our server was Joshua and he was excellent and was able to help me decide between three dishes and his recommendation of grilled scallops and shrimp was spot on. My husband had plank salmon and that too was excellent.
Always excellent. Fresh & perfectly prepared fish. Terrific Key Lime Pie...the best. Leo was a friendly, attentive waiter who took great care of us.
