We were greeted with a warn smile and seated within a few minutes. Our Sever, Leo, was great! Fantastic. He seemed to love serving us and I always had iced tea, which is a huge plus. We had the jmbo shrimp cocktail to start and they were meaty and plump. I had the Nawlins BBQ shrimp and it was amazing. Spicy and in kind of a broth. The halibut was a bit overcooked, but tasty, The manager stopped by and we let him know about the cook on the halibut. No need for a new piece as it tasted great, just a little over as they say. The Key Lime pie was yummuy and a good portion for two people. All in all a very nice dinner and a great evening was had.
Had a business luncheon, overall value was great. Some items fantastic, some average. Server was hit and miss. Had to wait to ask for items needed a little longer than should.
I brought a group of coworkers for lunch because I have always had great dining experiences here. Delicious food, great selection, and wonderful service. Everyone loved their meals. Highly recommend, we will be back for sure!
I ordered the whole fish. It was very dry, no flavor and full of tiny little bones that was not edible. We come here often, but this time it was not up to par. I order St. James oysters they were tiny and not much inside the shelves. nobody checked on our table and no refills on our drinks. Could've been because it was Father's Day and they were very busy. Of all the times we've gone this was the most disappointing on a normal day. I would've given them 100% 10 poi ts
We go here about 3 or 4 times a year. The food is always excellent and the price is resonable. Our waiter was very attentive and the food arrived promptly.
5 pm Friday dinner for 2. Great time to get personal service and timely food prep. Oyster to start were exceptional. Entree halibut was 1 1/2 inch thick steak, perfectly prepared and served with two sides. Grilled shrimp entree was like eating king prawn size shrimp. Price point was reasonable. Perfect date.
I really enjoyed the soft-shell crab this time since it is only available at certain times of the year. I ordered it prepared Piccata style with Israeli cous cous and greens. It was delicious. My husband always has the seared tuna which he loves.
My lobster was spoiled - It tasted funny, like pneumonia. The staff was super on top of it, comped most of our meal and the manager was super sweet. We will def be back.
For me, this is a great neighborhood restaurant. I frequently come here for lunch on Saturdays with friends after our morning workout. It is on the expensive side, but they have wonderful outside seating. The food is very good. The service is good and friendly.
Food as always was delicious. However, I ordered the scallops and they were very small, and not much to eat for $35. In the past, they were much larger.

Hostess was very unfriendly and seemed put out. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Fresh fish indeed, but for the money, they could have served the meal hot. It was barely luke warm for all at the table. Can't help wondering how long it was all sitting in the kitchen (and they were not busy). Disappointing! Ate at the one by the Carlsbad outlet mall a few months ago, and service and food were excellent. I will not be going back! I have an upcoming reservation that will be cancelled.
First, our sever, Kennith, was excellent. Experienced service professional who paid attention to detail and was providing value add as a service. Not just taking an order and bringing us a meal. This was our first trip to this chain. The seafood we ordered was cooked perfectly and flavorful. We felt the prices were fair enough. Clean and pleasant casual atmosphere. Both wild caught and farm raised options. Key lime pie was authentic!
My husband and I ordered a dozen oysters to start. The oysters were small and tasteless with a big price. Then we ordered a cup each of New England clam chowder which was soupy and no clams. Recommend not ordering this as you can actually eat it through a straw. Then we shared a Louie salad at. The salad was full of iceberg lettuce, chopped cucumbers and carrots, very little dressing and shrimp. Granted my husband and I shared the salad but one would expect it to be tasty, which it wasn't. You get a better and more quality salad at the Brigantine which includes romaine lettuce and lots of seafood and vegetables, which my husband and I always share. We've decided that the food quality is just not there and have decided not to return. You would think that a fish restaurant would serve the best fish and fresh meals in town, not this one.
The food is AHMAZING!!! This is our second time dining here and the food does not disappoint. The seafood is fresh and very delicious. The crab cakes are the best ever and the blackened catfish has a Cajun twist to it. Be sure to ge the key lime pie to seal off your dining sensation. The server was very good and polite. Looking forward to our next visit.
