Olleh is my go to for KBBQ. We've been going here for many years now. Tonight seemed like they were on top of their game. Shout out to RJ! He tended to us if we needed more water, order more meat or sides and always asked to change our grill. My friends noticed that he took care of us well. You need more staff like him ! THANK YOU!

Olleh is hello spelled backwards but I'll probably not say hello to this place too often since better (the best, really) KBBQ place, DJK, is nearby. Sometimes, however, one desires to binge on AYCE KBBQ for a better ROI and Olleh is the place for it. The service at Olleh was very good and the food was good for an all you can eat place. Goodbye Olleh, I'll say hello again in a couple months.

Overall good service! Waiters were nice and good ambience. Portion sizes for meat are smaller than usual but lets u have space to try other things. Exploding steamed egg was DELICIOUS. Very good flavoring and big portion. Meat was overall pretty good, get stuff with marinade for more flavor.

We initially tried to go to Manna KBBQ next door but the wait was at least 1.5hrs. At Olleh we waited less than 20mintues during dinner time on a Saturday. All you can eat Premium is $30.99 and the next level up is $41.99. Kids are 5 and up so kids under 4 eat free. The food here is okay but the convenience great. Like any other all you can eat KBBQ places they have their restrictions - you can only order one meat per person at one time, so if you have a party of 4 you can order 4 at a time. Sides are unlimited but small. It was hot inside and we didn't really notice the fan above the grill doing anything. It was okay, there are so many other places to try in the area but if you can't wait one hour plus + try this place.

Came here by accident because the other Korean bbq (Hanna) was to full and was not able to accommodate our party of 7. Was NOT disappointed and so glad we came here instead. Their service was great! We were seated within minutes and our food came out really fast too. The workers were attentive to our empty plates (some other kbbq places I've been to let your plates pile up before taking them). Also I've got to say their Kimchi was probably one of the best I've ever had out of any of the other kbbq I have ever been too! Pricing was not so bad either. Must try place for my fellow out of town people!

This place is used to be my favorite kbbq due to the quality of food and especially the tiger shrimps, until today. I was so disappointed that their AC is under performance. How could you handle bbq in the middle of summer at a place where smoke is all over the place and AC is definitely under performance? When I talked to them saying that it was just way too hot. They told me there's nothing that they can do and the AC is already on. It's not a proper way to do business. You definitely know that it's way too hot and the customers can't enjoy their food under that kind of environment. You definitely see that people are sweating and they are using your menu as a hand fan to make some breeze. What you should do is finding a way for your customer to have good experience at your restaurant, not finding an excuse. Alright! It's your choice! You told me that you can't do anything, but I know what to do. NEVER EVER COME BACK. I WOULD RATHER GIVE MY BUSINESS TO SOMEWHERE ELSE THAT DESERVES IT.

The meat here was okay for me. The wait time for me on a Friday was about 45 minutes (which isn't too bad). I think this is a good KBBQ place to try if you are new to Korean BBQ and have a price budget you gotta work with. The service was okay. I wasn't able to get my meats as fast, but I understand that a lot of restaurants are short-staffed. I wish they get better scissors for the tables because they don't work very well. I recommend asking for another pair of scissors so that more people can cut the meats and enjoy the meats faster lol. Their side dishes were pretty decent and their steamed egg is AMAZING! I don't recommend the cheese sticks.

Tried Olleh the other day with friends. It was a great time. We really enjoyed the selections - loved the steamed egg and the short rib, which is only on the premium menu and limited to two orders a person - and found the service to be sufficiently attentive. They kept our waters filled and gave us whatever banchan we exhausted. The floors were a smidge slippery, though, so I wouldn't recommend running around the restaurant. (Yeah, I'm not sure who would do that, but after a day of good Korean BBQ and drinks, who knows what people would do!)

The food here is good. But please clean underneath the tables. There's alotta dirt and grime underneath. It messed up my shoes twice :( I completely forgot about it after the first time and made the mistake to bring shoes that I like here.

Olleh is my #2 favorite kbbq spot in San Diego! Pretty big space with lots of tables, fast service. My favorite dishes are definitely the steamed egg and the beef belly. The steamed egg is probably the fluffiest I've ever had. The beef belly is nice and tender, whereas in other places it could be stringy and dry. Pro tip: drizzle some brisket sauce in your steamed egg for more flavor! I do agree with some of the other reviews in that one grill was not enough for our party of 6. Definitely took longer to get full as we fought over the division of meat. Large parking lot, but it could get full during prime dinner hours and you'll find yourself stalking a leaving person for their spot.

I came here on Friday with my husband to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary, we had gone to the Olleh in RB for a friends birthday so we knew we had to try the Olleh closer to home. Thankfully we found parking at the lot as soon as we arrived and we were able to get our name on the list. It was definitely a lot longer wait time, but hey it's definitely worth it, we probably waited 30-40 minutes? I do have to warn you not to come after 8:30 pm because the list does close early to give the patrons enough time to enjoy their meals! We chose the Prime menu, it has 10 more items then on the regular AYCE menu, we always choose this because they have more premium cuts and mozzarella sticks. To start we had a rib eye and spicy pork belly, while my husband had the beef tongue and teriyaki beef brisket. For sides, I ordered the steamy egg, japchae and chicken dumplings. Umm, the steamy egg was so good, warning let it cool down a bit because it can be really hot. Bryan also ordered the mozz sticks and they came out in an order of 5 instead of 2 like the other location. Can I just say that this location has such a friendly staff, always wanting to make sure we had enough food or if we needed our grills changed, our table was by the door and they even asked if it was too cold for us. It was perfect really. We had a wonderful time, I took shots with the table of girls across from us. I would definitely come back, the quality of the meat is great and the ambiance is just so welcoming and fun. 10/10 will come again!

yesterday was my first time ever trying Korean bbq. I came for dinner with some friends & they knew exactly what to order lol. For the amount of food that you get, $30 is an incredible price. I thought that everything was extra until my friend said it's all included!! We tried a bunch of different meats that were so flavorful and tender. All the sides they bring you before you eat are delicious. The kimchi is some of the best I've had. The cucumbers are fresh and the radish is so yummy. We also ordered some noodles & kimchi fried rice with an egg. I didn't get one thing i didn't like. Service is amazing too! They check up on you constantly and serve quickly. This will definitely be one of my new go to spots! Was easily one of the best meals I've had in awhile.

Fantastic service. The food itself was good but just not quite outstanding. $31/person for the entry level all you can eat is fine and on par with most places in the area with todays inflated prices (I miss the good old days when it was like $22/person). Probably not worth the additional cost to upgrade to the more expensive option unless you really want tongue (I don't) as there are plenty of options on the basic menu. Disappointed they don't have the soybean sprouts banchan dish. The brisket would've been better if it was cut a little thinner - it wasn't bad, it just wasn't as good as places with paper thin cut brisket. Beef belly was good. Garlic pork belly was decent. Wish the pineapple was fresh and not canned pineapple but it's nice they have that. Wish there were more vegetable options but it's nice they were generous with the king oyster mushrooms. Parking was a pain, the lot is too small to support all the businesses (mainly this kbbq restaurant) so during busy times, you have to circle around like a vulture and hope you get a spot. Came at 545pm on a Saturday night and was told it would be a 40 minute wait but was seated in 25 minutes, not bad. It's a big restaurant with lots of tables. Overall, I would go back because of the fantastic, friendly, and quick service, even if the food itself didn't blow me away and is basically the same quality and price range as other locations.

My family and I came here for a Mother's Day dinner, Sunday at 6:45pm. We were expecting a long wait, as it was a holiday and there were many names on the waiting list. But we actually got seated within 15 minutes! I think many parties left the area/left the waiting list overall, so they prioritized the parties present. This place has amazing service! The servers are super attentive, they come by super often to take our order. They allow 4 plates of meat per order plus unlimited kitchen items. There's a 2 hour time limit but my fam always finishes in 1 hour. The meat portions are good, especially since we get 4 plates at a time. I thought their banchan portions are kinda small, but that's not super important as we can always order more. Overall, this is a great KBBQ option in Convoy, I always have a pleasant experience here!

I came here on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't very crowded. There was no waiting time and the parking was easy. The service was good and very attentive. They changed our grill about 3 times and continuously checked in to make sure we got everything we needed. I think the food was of good quality, but the portion size was small when brought out. Honestly, it was better that way so we don't waste food and get too full. I would highly recommend: beef belly, spicy pork, shrimp (the heads fell off so easily when cooked! It's like they were meant to be bbq'd!), honey pork bulgolgi, mushrooms, japchae, bomb steamed egg (I don't usually like steamed eggs... but this one was good!) , bul-dak fried dumplings, and their sesame balls (they seemed freshly made when ordered) The best part about this restaurant is that it is well ventilated. I love Korean BBQ, but the part i hate the most is smelling like meat afterwards and needing to shower and completely place my clothes straight into the laundry. I had taken a shower earlier that day and was dreading having to wash my hair again but I was pleasantly surprised that I did not have a lingering smell! I would come back again!
