Wow absolutely amazing I ordered the French Dip for $17 and it was beyond perfect. The bread is soft but still has a crunch to it from the grill. The beef is plenty and the cheese is a perfect blend it’s very filling. The Au Jus is a great flavor and built in the plate. The tater tots are a perfect crisp and comes with ketchup and ranch. I’m just super impressed with this place wasn’t expecting it. The only reason I came in was to support and get a Happy Dad but they only sell it by the 12 pack. Brandon was my server and was the most attentive service and great lunch. I live close by so I’ll be back with my wife to support more this is a very great hidden gem. Must try great vibe and just all around good food and super clean!

Unique food selection in a small neighborhood restaurant. Located inside of a liquor store. Outside seating as well. Nice vibe.

Service was good until more customers arrived, then it was very difficult to get the waiter's attention. Drinks were forgotten, and if it weren't for the fact that we were waiting to order a free birthday dessert, we would have left long before we did.
Yummy food but a lot of bar food (fried and drowned in sauce). However we both got salads and they were good size and filled us up. Very fresh!

I love this place for the good food and the excellent whiskey selection (both at the bar and in the store). I do wish they had a better retail setup so customers could see the bottles and prices without the employee needing to go up a ladder for you. Still 5 stars, as the employee on the ladder always brings down something good to try.

We lived going to this most unusual and unique restaurant. Amazing selection of wine, liquors and beers. The appetizers were over cooked. Waiter was excellent.
Friendly staff, good food

Such a fun place. It can be a bit noisy, but I expect that at a place where there are sports on TV. Our server, Brandon, was friendly and attentive, and made two older patrons feel welcome. The carnitas street tacos are my fave!
Went for the KGB morning show, and it was great. I was my girlfriends driver.
Food was terrible made equally worse by the bad service. The restaurant wasn't even busy yet the kitchen took forever preparing our dishes. The waitress took forever to come by for our drink orders. I suppose their personal conversation was more important.
You know some places are only good for a couple of things. K&B has good drinks list, some nice salads, and the fish&chips. Everything else is sketchy. They need to rename the Philly Cheese steak sandwich to the California cheese sandwich. They have definitely never been to Philly!! Fly on Eagles!!
This is our family's favorite "go-to" spot to spend an evening. It checks all the boxes. We always get friendly service, an extensive selection of beers, and a menu that lets each one of us find exactly what food we're in the mood for. It's got a great vibe and it's fun to be in the mix during SDSU games. They are a local treasure. I highly recommend the tater tots loaded or the brussel sprouts.
Parking: Tons of parking and big spots!
Kid-friendliness: My 24 and 25 year old kids love it. However, I see kids of every age are always there.
