Stopped in here randomly on a Sunday evening in search of a good deli sandwich, didn't even know this place existed. Walked in and the owner greeted me like an old friend, recommended the Fat Tony. He gave me a run down of the whole menu and still ended up with the Fat Tony. I planned on getting it to-go, when it came out; it looked so good that I crushed the whole sando on the spot. In world of Jersey Mike's, Subways, and Firehouses where you're paying $20 for mediocre; the $16 for the 1lb Fat Tony will rock your world. Massively recommend.
P.S. the potato salad is also good.

Knockout Deli really lives up to its name — this place packs a punch! 🥊
The sandwiches are absolutely stacked with fresh meats and toppings, perfectly balanced between flavor and portion. The bread is soft with just the right amount of crunch, and every bite feels like it was crafted with care. The sides are a knockout on their own too — the potato salad was creamy, seasoned just right, and paired perfectly with the crisp pickle and peppers.
The atmosphere is welcoming with a modern yet classic deli vibe, clean and cozy with friendly service that makes you feel right at home. You can tell they take pride in both the food and the customer experience.
If you’re anywhere near Convoy Street, this spot is a must-visit. Knockout Deli isn’t just another sandwich shop — it’s the new standard for what a deli should be. I’ll definitely be coming back for round two (and three, and four…). 🥪🔥

Says they close at 9pm and the door time says 10pm its 7:27pm and they're closed. Someone should probably change the hours.

Showed up 15 minutes after their listed opening time (both online and on front door) and the place is locked and dark, no answer to phone call. Don't drive out of your way unless you're sure they're open, I guess.

Don’t put on the website that you’re open when you’re not. Spent 15 minutes looking for parking just to try and pull a locked door. Would’ve loved to try.
One of the best sandwiches in San Diego for sure! Delicious and good prices too. The place has plenty of seating and is very clean too.
