Knockout Pizzeria

I ordered online for 11.45 delivery, no one showed up, I waited then called at 12.05 and was informed that other catering jobs were already in line before me... Then I was told food would be delivered in 20m, nobody there at 12.30 so I went to pick up the order myself.
Pizza was for 10 of my employees, we weren't eating until about 12.45. This looked really bad on me. I was only refunded the delivery fee, no apology or no other compensation.
If you would have just called me when I placed the order to tell me it was going to be delivered later that would have been fine. Poor communication and you didn't even attempt to address the inconvenience.

Food was pretty good, randomly pricey for whatever reason. Service wasn't bad they noted help was wanted but other than that I would do it again, but the pricing for a slice of pizza by itself seemed to be close to $4-$5 unless you ordered a lunch special which was
2 slices and drink $ 8.50 3 slices and drink for $11.
Deff better than one slice.
Pizza doe not bad cooked with a light crunch like it should.

Parking: Parking is in a huge plaza but multiple retail and food businesses.

WORST SERVICE EVER! Never coming back, I went there almost closing time and the staff did not wanted to serve me, they were going to close 15 mins after I got they and they were treating me so poorly -1/10

Lunch deal. Two slices and a drink plus tips= $10. Can't beat this value for miles around. Nuff said.

I have been eating pizza in San Diego since 1978. Knockout serves some of the best tasting pizzas in the entire city. The staff is always friendly and your order is prepared with care.This is New York pizza. The dough is fresh and the toppings are plentiful. Everything is made with an Italian flair to it. Very tasty and well worth the visit

First all the reviews about the owner not being nice, then you never been to the east coast, that's just how people talk to one another, I thought there was no disrespect, then again I know how to order a PIE the correct way, pizza was great not the best but it was still a great pie. Then again if you ever been to NY then you know that you'll never really find great pie inside the city, go upstate a little and the game changes. I will be back if I'm ever in the area again

I've only been here a couple of times. The owner/mgr was always less than friendly. The pizza slices I had in the past were ok but it was obvious they had been out for a long time.Tonight I wanted to order 3 slices to go. There was only a ratty looking cheese pizza on the counter. Apparently this guy couldn't tear himself away from his laptop to make anything. When I expressed my displeasure about the poor service and said I wouldn't be back. He replied sometimes when you win and sometime you lose. I replied it didn't seem likely he would be in business much longer. The snarky reply was he had been in that location for 10 yrs a___h____. With that attitude and his customer focused attitude, its not likely he will be there 10 more.Not recommended for the food and definitely not for the wonderful attitude of this jerk.

I ordered takeout, and it was FANTASTIC. I wanted so badly to order again and bring home to my boyfriend who loves pizza. I called 40 minutes prior to close, and the man said that he had just turned off the oven because it had been slow. I explained that I wasn't from the area and really wanted just one pie. He refused to turn on the oven and when I said I would try again soon, and should I take this into account and call earlier he replied very rudely that he had no idea and cannot predict the future. I was so disappointed.
So the fact that they have great pizza isn't good enough!

The hours of operation were recently updated by the business to reflect a closing time of 8:30pm on Wednesdays. Just stopped in today (Wednesday, 9/6/23) at just after 7pm. Guess what? They were closed. Not cool. No pizza for me.

Very bad experience...the staff was very rude....the food taste awful...will not recommend it to anyone...plz dnt go here atleast if u want good pizza or pasta
