The place is beautiful inside and the service is impeccable. I've gone for lunch and dinner. The lunch is quick, flavorful and a good deal for all the preparation that goes into it. The dinner has a lively atmosphere and is usually packed. The food presentation is great and the owner is friendly and knowledgeable on the cuisine.Dietary restrictions: The gluten free options are delicious and you can't tell the difference. I haven't ever been sick from cross contamination since I'm celiac

Great Persian Restaurant food is fresh...but really fresh the gentleman that took care of us was nice and attentive. My wife and I will be back for sure we leave far from this restaurant but the trip was well worth it!! Great jobWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space for a wheel chair

Over priced they dont tell you how much each plate last time i ordered i got 1 meal it was 16.50$ and small plate of hummus they didnt show me any pricing for my food and my total was 38$ its just unbelievable! If you go please watch how much you pay for your food because a meal almost 40$ its just insane…Parking: Very tight parking spaces limited space as well

I would love to say more if I could be uncensored, but I won’t. Honestly deserves zero stars. Ok as someone who grew up where there are tonnes of kebab restaurants on every street corner, a place like this would not survive 5 min there.Quantities small, meat nothing special (I probably would not even feed this to a vagrant dog), served with plain rice (and I mean plain, no butter, seasoning etc.), no sauces, vegetables, breads. Had to ask for chilli sauce and garlic sauce. Got some chilli sauce out of bottle and yoghurt (I guess yoghurt was what they understood by garlic sauce). Then tried to charge extra 7 dollars for yoghurt!! See photo. I brought non white friend and person taking bill (owner? acted like his parents dragged him up, sooooo rude), some patronizing comment that in America when you “order” side you must pay (although this was just sauce we asked for and we got yoghurt!), which I have opinions on that I will keep the full extent of to myself. Menu range awful. No mixed grill, that is another missing basic. I would not pay more than 6 dollars total for this, rather than more than x4 the price, awful.Seriously San Diego, you deserve much better. Let the free markets talk #delusionsofgrandeur

Don’t expect the restaurant to be cozy because it’s not. However if u r looking for excellent Persian cuisine, u can be assured u r in the right place. Price is on the high side but definitely worth it.

This is a very nice restaurant with the great foods, we had lunch there and everyone ordered differently types of foods and they were so delicious and the best quality, the owner was so friendly and the service was excellent, will go there again for sure .

Extremely poor and bad service. The waitress has no communication skills doesn't understand English and is often non responsive to the needs of the customer. If you order anything or side dishes they make faces. Is this how a business is run and is this an acceptable business ethics ? Lame service , if you ask for any additional side item they are always short or don't pay attention to the question asked. Renovation ongoimg is not an excuse. If you can run a business smoothly without customer satisfaction then close it and look for other opportunities. Last making fun of a customer and lousy jokes don't jell well as perhaps the owners need to understand we customers are not desperate for your food there are other places we can buy the same or better quality of service or food. This place is a slump and lousy management. Don't waste money to eat here. Better Persian restaurants are there to accommodate quality clients and customers.

First time trying and was not disappointed. Koobideh was juicy and flavorful and the portion is just right. Owner says they are still remodeling so I'll definitely go back when it is complete. Reason why I gave it a 4 star is because the menu didn't have hummus or tahini right now. Once they add it after the remodel, I'll return to try and will update my review.

Started with the Cashke Bademjan which is the pan fried eggplant mixed with processed yogurt served with Flatbread. The Ash Reshteh Persian soup beans, noodle, fresh mixed vegetable cooked. Adas Polo special basmati rice mixed with raisins, lentil and fresh date, served with boiled chicken.Mini Koobideh one skewer of juicy strips of charbroiled seasoned ground beef served with basmati rice and salad. For dessert I split a Faloodeh which is rosewater shave ice with coconut and sour cherries; and a side of saffron pistachio ginger ice cteam!! To die for when mixed together!! Very exotic dessert!! Loved it!!

Highly recommend Kolbeh not just because of their delicious food, but because of their excellent customer service. When I was sick I ordered food through doordash and they made a honest mistake by giving me the incorrect food. When I called the woman who helped me was so kind and compassionate and wanted to make things right. I don't know if it was the manager she had told or owner but the kind gentleman drove to my house to deliver a hot plate of what I had ordered. That itself was the kindest gesture. They could've simply told me they'd refund or to get the food next time but no they went out of their way to get my meal to me.
