We stopped by Kono’s Café on a Monday and were surprised to see how busy it was for a weekday—the line was long, but it moved pretty quickly and was totally worth the wait. The food was great, affordable, and the staff was super friendly and on top of things despite the crowd.
Definitely a spot you want to hit before a beach day. Good vibes, tasty breakfast, and a great way to start the day in Pacific Beach. Would absolutely come back!

This is hands down my favorite breakfast place in San Diego. The portion size is incredible (big breakfast #2 could feed 2 people), the prices are very reasonable, and the view over the ocean is amazing.

Overrated - the french toast is not a french toast at all, just grilled toast bread with some powder and salty butter on top and a little bit of cinnamon. Scrambled eggs were ok, bacon was the only thing I really.
