I got bamboozled into trying this place due to instagram feed (mistake, I know). The sandos look better than they taste. I tried the sampler. The egg sando bread was rock hard. The fruit and cream was better but still you could tell the bread has been sitting out for awhile. The atmosphere is a small hole in the wall with no sit down area inside. Sandwiches are all 12 bucks or more so make sure you pick up those extra shifts before you come.

We tried the Fruit Sando! It was very good- and very generous on the cream. Fruit tasted fresh and bread was okay. Display was nice as well. Next time I’ll have to try some of their savory options but all and all a very easy and pleasing experience. $11 was a little steep and maybe around $8 i’d come more often and they could consider catering at that price. But still good stuff! Thank you

Overall they got really solid food. Their Takoyaki is a good pick me up for extra food if I bring lunch and am still hungry 🙌🙌 just wished they still kept their curry sauce on the menu cause that was a huge motivator for me to buy their sandwiches. Would totally appreciate the return of the sauce or at least sharing the recipe for it if they’re going to opt to have it permanently removed.

Honestly, a little bland.

I've been wanting to try Kumo since they've opened. Left a little disappointed for a couple reasons. Not great but also not bad. I enjoyed the sandwiches as they felt light. I also liked the Kani Salad. $10 for the small amount of chicken karage wasn't worth it. The potato salad was very disappointing. It was just half of a whole potato, not diced, just a block of potato. Takoyaki had okay texture but again, was a little bland.

I'd go back just for the sandwiches, and that's just a maybe since I haven't tried other ones. Most of their appetizers/sides are about $10 which doesn't feel worth it. The sandwiches are quite expensive too. The food quality is just not there yet to be at this price point. They've got the right idea but need more flavor profile development.

I ordered delivery and did not receive the Fruit Sandwich. I was disappointed about this since they marketed themselves very highly on Fruit Sandwiches. How could they forget!? That's little care from the service team.

We tried:
Pork katsu Sammy - the best
Chicken katsu Sammy - second best
Egg salad Sammy - too sweet
Fruit and cream strawberry - very good 😊

They made the orders fresh. Took it to go and it was very delicious even with the travel home.

I only ordered The chicken katsu sandwich is very good.
10/10 solid and unique taste
8/10 price, a bit expensive for the portion sizes compared to nearby restaurants.

I would go again. When I'm not starvinglt hungry because the flavor is very good.

The famous sandwiches are amazing, amazing chicken, will try the other stuff on the menu. The only reason why it's a 4 star is that it's costly, despite the price, you won't be disappointed.

I went here on Monday and got the strawberry cream sandwich. The staff were super friendly and the pastry was very yummy. I love how it wasn't too sweet. I would definitely come back to try the savory sandwiches they have!

Simple. I like the shrimp sandwich a lot. The egg salad is good. It's light.
