I have visited two times now. The egg sando is delicious, slightly sweet, and is very large and filling. The vegetarian katsu is okay. I think that they need a denser sauce to go with it, since the watery sauce soaked the bread and made it kind of soggy. Also the katsu itself had a very oily taste (like the oil it was fried in wasn't cleaned recently?)

It's a very small hole in the wall place that you can't see from the parking lot. You're better off parking and then wandering around towards the back to find it.

It is also pretty pricey for a sandwich. I believe I paid $12 or so dollars per sandwich. But, I did see that they offer happy hour, so I'll have to plan for that next time!

That being said, the egg salad was so good that I came back a second time. It's not quite like the famous ones in Japan, but the bread is fluffy and delicious and you can tell that it was made with care.

Parking: It's very hidden. Park in front of subway or the Indian restaurant and walk towards the back.

Super good. I will be back on account of them being out of the sweet options and the shrimp sandwich. I was honestly surprised there wasn't a line.

Giving this place a 1 star review. Young kids deciding to open up a sando spot and charge an arm and a leg for what should be cheap sandwiches. It's definitely hyped, and not worth spending $40+ for 4 sandos. Mid at best. You're better off spending your money at a subway lol.

Solidly okay, but only okay. We went on a pretty quiet Saturday and they were out of every item I tried to order (including an item I paid for and they came out later to tell me they could substitute it with something else). The wait for food was pretty long but there were only a few staff there handling everything. Everyone we talked to was nice enough.

There's no seating inside, which is fine because the plaza outside is really nice and we enjoyed eating out there by the fountain.

The food itself was alright but nothing great. The potato salad, egg salad, and katsu sandwiches were really bland, which was unfortunate because Japanese potato salad is great at most restaurants I've been to here. Takoyaki was okay. The kani salad was decent and my fiancé thought it was good. The combo pricing didn't feel too steep but overall with the lack of flavour you can probably just enjoy making your own at home for less.

We paid $55 for 2 katsu sandwich combos, a takoyaki (which was supposed to be squid karaage), and a fruit sando.

I’ve been dying to try one of these and it did not disappoint. Staff was super friendly, we kinda came close to closing, but they served us very quickly and kindly! It’s like a strawberry shortcake but better. ?

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes wheelchair accessible but no auto door. Door is pull handle.

Probably closest to what you can get out here to be similar to Japan, the price is a bit steep though for the egg sando which is very cheap to make. I wish they made their own milk bread instead of using premade bread, justifies the price even less.

Sando is good, like 3 stars good but the tea is very bad either they used the water from the faucet without filter or the container or boiler didn’t clean very well, it just tastes bad.

Definitely a small business vibe, you feel like you’re ordering from a school cafeteria. I really don’t mind that if the food is bomb. I really wanted to like it, I’m a huge fan of trying new places. It’s a filling meal but just overall surprisingly bland. The most flavorful thing was the imitation crab salad. Sandwich I got was the shrimp one, very bland fried flavor, shrimp already has salt but really didn’t taste much. Even the sauce they put isn’t that flavorful. For $18 I really was hoping for more. Potato salad was terrible just potatoes flavor not any unique flavor. Oolong tea was alright, that had a lot of flavor kinda bitter even at full sweet, probably made a batch in the morning and I came in the afternoon

First time coming to Kumo and I loved it! I got the combo which came with a 1/2 a fruit and 1/2 egg salad sandwich. Both were exactly as advertised and very good. I will definitely be coming back!

food was ok, bit pricey wish food would’ve been better to make up for it.

This place has solid Japanese sandwiches. While the selection isn't large and the store front only allows for outdoor seating, I've enjoyed their soft breads and delectable katsus a small handful of times. A bit on the pricier side but it's never disappointed!

Really good Sando! Outdoor seating only.

Parking: Shared food court parking and other businesses. If it's busy then it will be hard to find parking.
