I don't use Yelp but wanted to write this review. We signed in at around 7 pm and was quoted a tremendously long wait time. It was my wife's birthday and my kids really wanted to dine at this restaurant so we decided to try and wait it out. However it was becoming nearer to 8:30 pm and still nothing. We expressed this to the host and she went out of her way to accommodate us! Our kids loved the conveyor belt, toys, and robot experience! Special thank you to Sabina for being kind and accommodating us!

My boyfriend and I were weirdly craving REVOLVING sushi, just the experience in itself... it's been a while since we've been to one so we decided to check out Kura in Convoy... unfortunately, I just don't think we'll be back. Between the two of us, we got about 25 dishes which ended up costing us $95 (granted at this point, it would've been more worth it to go to an ayce place). We were filled but some of the quality was questionable. In the first 10 minutes, things went rather smoothly and the fish tasted fine but as time went on, the quality and experience seemed to go downhill. They served drinks and condiments by placing it on this cute little robot but unfortunately one of the drinks was really filled and as the robot made its way to us, the drink spilled all over our wasabi! The uni also tasted oddly bitter? I've never had such a bitter aftertaste after eating uni. Also, they allowed a dog to sit inside the establishment and it was not a service dog so I didn't really know how to feel about that. All in all, some of the sushi dishes we chose were hits but also there were too many misses for us to come back.

We had such a blast at @kurasushi_usa in #KearnyMesa Of course we had to hit 15 plates to get our prize!

Absolutely terrible experience. Go here if you feel like waiting for at LEAST an hour and then to be told that they likely will not be able to give you a table. Stopped by this evening and joined the waitlist at 7pm on a Thursday night. Waited an hour before host tells us they are too busy and IF* they are able to take us in, the food on the conveyor belt will not be available. What's the point then? I can name 10 other sushi restaurants with better quality, the conveyor belt is the whole point. Host blamed the kiosk for their lack of preparation. They did not even bother to close the kiosk so people could still join the waitlist - just to be told what we were told. I have been here in the past - the food was average. The novelty is the conveyor belt aspect.

Waited for over two hours. They said they will call when we are ready so we stayed somewhere else and it turned out they let people who complain just get in first. The food was very mediocre

The food was so good and fresh. I had so much fun picking and figuring out what I wanted. The ambiance was perfect because you did not feel pressured by having people hovering over you. Asking you if you need anything else? You just picked what you wanted when you wanted it. So everything was perfect. Service, ambiance, and food. Exactly what I needed, we had so much fun.

Dine where AI in cute robot form delivers your beverages, and an extensive conveyer system parades sushi (and cheesecake) constantly? Count me in, for the experience. At $3.50 per plate, you can eat a lot without feeling obligated to overeat, and the quality is good enough to not feel like you should have gone elsewhere. I liked the few employees we interacted with, and my two sisters were both mostly pleased with their selections. Due to the rotation speed and despite placards with item types, it's easy to grab something you didn't intend or don't care for after a bite. I'd say we had a couple duds, one roll (3 pieces) with cream cheese and the California Roll, in particular. One roll I got had a sliver thick section, but I still enjoyed myself. I thought that the nigiri sushi was pretty good, although thinly sliced. We got enough plates, which are counted as you stick them into the opening for dish washing, to earn a free price. The prize is dispensed from a gumball machine-like contraption atop the electronic menu tablet. For the three of us, the total was just under $70, which is astounding for sushi! A fun place, one highlight was the Snow Crab sushi. It tasted fresh and was generous in size.

Legit Revolving Sushi. Be advised, once you sign in via app or local tablet, you must then be sure to the proceed to the podium out front and speak with the staff for check in, so that they know you are physocally there. Both steps seem to be required in order to achieve maximum sushi yay. In summation: Sign in, Check in, Yay.

This place used to be super fun, but it's become like the DMV. You aren't allowed to ask the host about where you're at in line, you must go outside to wait and have them come outside to ask. Then, get this, when you do ask; here's the response: "oh corporate won't let us tell you where you're at in line." Well is it ten minutes or three hours? "Yeah, sorry, corporate won't let me go ahead disclose that, even when you've been registered online." It's no longer fun and novel, it's a pain.

Pretty much everything is automated and all you have to do is wait for a free table. Orders come in on the upper table within less than 1 minute. The bottom conveyer belt items can be taken at any time. There is also soups, desert and you can order drinks that will be brought by a waiter. Super quick, the food is amazing (I spent 6 years in Japan it's on par) and it's a pleasant and quick experience.

My family and I stopped by for some lunch on a Saturday around 11AM and were prepared for a long line since we know it sometimes happens. However, we were pleasantly surprised that once we added ourselves to the waitlist, it only took about 5 minutes to get seated. I think we were pretty lucky since other people may have added themselves to the list online but we were the only ones physically there at that time. We immediately were seated and got to start with grabbing sushi. Your server will ask if it's your first time, and if it is, they'll show you how to grab a plate. You pay per plate, which can lead to things adding up if you have a good appetite, so just be cautioned. You can use the screen above the conveyor belt to order drinks, specialty items, or something you've been looking for but haven't seen on the belt yet. You can also pay once you're done. The service is great, the sushi is delicious, and it's an overall fun experience. The location is very clean as well. You even can get a "prize" if you eat enough plates. I definitely recommend for the experience! I would just be cautious about spending a lot because of eating so many plates. Definitely worth it, and I strongly recommend Ly recommend the popcorn shrimp, sweet shrimp, and eel as some of my favorites!

Food is good and good variety just know if u come on the weekend it will be a long wait 2hrs plus other then that real good added a video of u guy relaxing on his brake lol

The sushi was average and definitely not worth the price or long wait. In reality you're paying for the novelty of a revolving sushi bar with robot drink servers. The service felt rushed since there were so many people waiting to get in.
