Kuro Sushi is a new spot on El Cajon Blvd with friendly staff and a welcoming owner. The yellow tail sashimi with cilantro and avocado slices in Ponzu sauce is a must-try and described as "BOMB!!!!" The spider roll and UFO roll were excellent, as well as the sunshine roll with fresh ingredients. The miso soup was flavorful with plenty of soy and seaweed. The food was excellent and decently priced, with a good selection of freshly made sushi, Nigiri, and sashimi. The owner and staff are cheerful and friendly, making customers feel like family.
