Kuro Sushi is a new spot on El Cajon Blvd with friendly staff and a welcoming owner. The yellow tail sashimi with cilantro and avocado slices in Ponzu sauce is a must-try and described as "BOMB!!!!" The spider roll and UFO roll were excellent, as well as the sunshine roll with fresh ingredients. The miso soup was flavorful with plenty of soy and seaweed. Despite some slow service and missing items, the overall experience was positive, especially with the 50% off special.
