My boyfriend and I came in for a date night on a slower Monday and had the best time!! We were a little nervous because it was empty, but food was really good quality. We went with the all you can eat menu and ended up being able to try a variety of things. We both really enjoyed everything that we got! The manager (Joe) was funny, super kind and explained everything to us, and even brought out delicious crab wontons to try on the house. Started out with good vibes all around. Our server, Rhazelle was so sweet and we had a great time chatting with her- she even put country on aux for us :) All past negative reviews are from the previous management, and with the new management I would *highly* recommend this place. Great bang for buck with the all you can eat menu and a really surprising level of food quality, presentation, attention to detail and care. And a plus being everybody around is super kind and attentive! Will definitely be returning.

Ikuzo Sushi under new ownership. Wow best Sushi restaurant in San Diego. The all you can eat menu has so many options to choose from. The food was excellent. Ikuzo shrimp bomb was the best I’ve ever had. I also had the fire fire roll, The padres roll, and lemon cilantro roll were so delicious. Everything was so delicious. The service was spot on. Joe, Elvis, Jose, and Katreen were so attentive and very friendly. Food came out pretty fast. The restaurant has been updated and looked very clean. If you are in the mood for sushi definitely head over to Ikuzo Sushi. I will going back very soon.

My husband daughter and I came over the weekend and had a great experience. The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful. I REALLY enjoyed the shrimp fried rice, the owner even explained to me the difference between the Chinese and Japanese versions of the dish which I thought was cool. We also got a few sushi rolls my favorites being between the dragon and tiger rolls (we also tried the spicy crunch roll and California roll) and the crab wontons were phenomenal as well. Definitely going back. Definitely recommend

Showed up for a date night at 6pm on a Tuesday. Place is closed with the hours only the door as open... Confused if this is permanently closed or what is up, but waste of money for an Uber out here :(

Excellent sushi and superb service! My friend and I enjoyed the rolls—lemon, rainbow, and fire fire—and nigiri—salmon, yellowtail, and eel. They were having 50% off when we were there, and it seemed like a good deal. Vibes are laid back & they had good lunch specials advertised.

Food was excellent and decently priced! We got the gyoza appetizer and 2 rolls, and we each got 2 drinks and walked out of there paying $71 including a good tip. We went on a Wednesday evening around 5:45ish so they were slow to start but began picking up and getting busier later. 10 out of 10 will be back again!

Been going to Kuro Sushi for almost three years now sometimes twice a month with my friends where we are welcomed by their cheerful friendly amazing owner & staff, who makes you feel like family and more, the food is absolutely delicious their selection of freshly made sushi , Nigiri, sashimi, my #1 always is thier Hamachi Kama yello tail fish or salmon ( extra crispy skin) WOW! You can't go wrong with anything you order it a full package of great times at a great Kuro Sushi💯💐👍🏼

Okay true confession: I am a sushi addict... I have been eating sushi for 62 years, yes, I'm an old man but I have never lost my love of fabulous sushi. And last night I found it, finally!!! I took a bus from downtown to try this well-recommended restaurant and boy was it worth it. This family-owned restaurant not only has the finest sushi, a very friendly expert sushi chef, but the homey atmosphere makes dining here a supreme delight. And when I got my bill I was shocked to see that the sushi was discounted to 50% off. What a pleasant surprise. Five star sushi at a price that even an old pensioner can afford. lol Well, It looks like I am going to be spending much more time on the 215 Express bus, It is worth the trip.
