Best Filipino food! I was in Los Angeles and I came across with their restaurant Kusina San Diego I was really happy because I saw the Kare-kare which is my ultimate favorite and I've been craving with the dish. Yes!! it was really delicious. Highly recommended!

We called ahead of time to make certain they would still be open at 7:30. They said yes so we came to try it out.We had the grilled daing bangus . It is a grilled milkfish with a mango salsa. It was wonderful! We also tried some sushi. They are not a sushi restaurant.

Came here for their AYCE Filipino brunch, served from 9-3. Parking is horrendous. We arrived at 1 pm, and came in expecting a wait. We were turned away. We were told it was because they don't accept guests after 1pm but our mom overheard them explaining to another customer that they were dealing with a kitchen malfunction and were having trouble with providing for the brunch.Maybe we'll try again at an earlier time but it was disappointing.

Good atmosphere. Some of the food are getting stale and cold during buffet hours. Garlic rice and ube butter were good.

Too much success too fast... Took over 15 min to get to the buffet, and then almost everything is out. They ran out of mimosas but were not letting people know who was waiting. The worst part is they just kept seating people making the problem worse and worse. Of the little food I did get it wasn't bad.

Love their Asian Fusion & traditional filipino food, esp their Sisig Nachos, Escabeche, turon. I need to try more. I've also attended Fil-Am Chamber events there, and it's a very spacious venue, with a good layout for speakers, presentations and music, with ample parking.

I would not recommend this place, especially if you know how to cook great food. I ordered the pork liempo, but I don't think it was actually liempo. The meat was chewy and it seemed like it wasn't fully cooked as it was still pink inside. The "fried rice" is dry and somewhat dehydrated, it needs more water just like their white rice. The server was pleasant, but the overall food quality and taste is not good.

This place is pretty great! I came by to order take out and while the restaurant was hosting a holiday party, they were so helpful and prompt for our order! The restaurant is pretty cute and was decked out in holiday decorations. I'm not sure if the restaurant is usually this cute but it has an incredibly cozy vibe. The food was delicious as well! The fish sinigang was delicious but less sour than many of my friends are used to but I think it was pretty good and I'm glad you can get it with garlic rice! My friend got the silog bowl and loved it. This is a great local spot!

I came back for the crispy pata but it was a lot different than the first time we ordered it seemed that the crispy pata was old and had been reheated several times. It was awful.

If you're looking for huge family sharing portions of delicious Filipino food, you're at the right place with Kusina. The service was great and the staff incredibly knowledgeable. They served us delicious food with a smile. I am torn between the loco moco and sisig as my favorite but I'm leaning towards the sisig. I loved that it came out with huge chunks of lechon and the sizzling plate was a nice touch. We came during the noon hour on a Saturday and were seated promptly so I highly suggest you give them a try.
