I couldn't find Rosca bread anywhere right before the day of the Three Wise Men. I found this place in the evening just driving around looking for a bakery in the area. There was plenty of parking along the street when I arrived. Upon entering, the bakery had a wonderful fresh baked smell. Also, I noticed the establishment was clean and well maintained. It looked like it was a family operation. Customer services was great! They greeted me and quickly got me what I wanted: Rosca. I'll be back for more bread soon. Bu the way, the bread was crazy good. I recommend it.

Rosca de Reyes with cajeta and cream cheese! Everyone liked it! The girls at Panaderia helped me pick it out. They were very helpful, because this was my first time to celebrate w/Rosca!

I tried this place a while ago and was not impressed. Glad I gave them a second chance. Great bread now. Unfortunately, the woman that always works there is super cranky and very rude. Also bring cash because they charge $1 for using a debit card no matter what you buy.

The cheesecake rolled pastry thing might be one of the best things my pallet has ever tasted.

It's almost Dia de los Muertos. I like to have some Pan de Muerto to celebrate. This year I found some at Panderia La Buena. Bakery reminds me of bakeries I visited when I was a kid. Nothing fancy. Just the colorful treats and the fresh baked aroma to entice you to buy. The lady in charge was nice and helpful with getting my treats. Concha decorated like a pumpkin was fluffy with a sugary top. Bread part had a nice fresh mild flavor with a good amount of sweetness from the top. Cute and tasty. Pan de Muertos was fluffy with lots of sugar on top. Like the concha the bread part had a nice mild flavor with a good amount of sweetness from the top. The Pan de Muertos and the concha were similar bread base and I loved them both. I'll have to return and try more treats here. Dia de los Muertos is celebrated November 1 and 2. November 1 is a day to remember children while November 2 is to honor adults.

Well I was looking for a Mexican bakery that will offer my basic favorites I came so disappointed from Panchitas in the same area ( it looks like the owner just gave up on this location) and I found La Buena super clean friendly owner ( not self service) she is having problem with homeless grabbing her product with there bare hands and she told me in order to keep her product clean she decided to change her way of doing business..any ways bread selection is extraordinary you shoul try I promise you would not be disappointed.

Mexican bread is bland tasting and they don't add cinnamon to their pan dulce which is an essential ingredient. Don't recommend.

Adorable shop tucked into San Diego. Bread selection was nice and everything tasted so good! I got 2 conchas and 2 barquillos and they were so tasty. Will be coming back this is my new favorite!
