They were sooooo rude. From the worker to the manager, everyone is rude. Extremely bad food. We were treated badly in front of the children. Please, if you have any self worth, never come to this awful place

I booked a reservation here for my 25th birthday this past weekend. I was disappointed when we waited two hours for cold food, poor service, and messed up orders. The food was flavorless. We were told that the manager was in the kitchen acting as the chef and it showed. Some of my guests food was burnt, some was undercooked. Then they had the nerve to charge us 20% gratuity after ignoring our party all night. My party of 15 traveled 200 miles for this low quality restaurant. It was beyond embarrassing. Beware of La Conde San Diego.
First time experience and there were 9 of us dining. Out of the 9 the only one who enjoyed their meal ordered shrimp. A person at our table complained that the chicken in her salad was tough and dry. The server apologized and still charged her for the salad $18, but did not charge for the chicken. Those who ordered the salmon plate said the fish was dry. I ordered nachos and it was piled with chips and the beef as also tough and chewy. They only had two staff members and we hardly saw our server... Will not be returning...
Can't believe they got rid of the crown that holds the drink and the hand with skull. That presentation was beautiful compared to the one they have now, this restaurant is going down hill. Whoever thought of changing the presentation of drinks needs to b fired. Bring back the crown for the”up” drink and the hand with skull. The food is still good hope they don't start changing the menu. And also we went dressed up because of what the website says but people were in there looking like they just came from the beach, the dress code was not enforced at all.
Service was amazing, our waitress was super friendly and really good on the recommendation she made since it was our first time. Drinks and food were really good as well. Will definitely recommend and will be returning.
We had a reservation at 9:15 and we didn’t get seated until 10PM. It took them like 30+ min to serve me a glass of wine. I got a
Ribeye and it upset my stomach immediately. The meat was also chewy (medium well). However, they did give me 2 glasses of wine since I waited a long time for it. Alcohol helped fix my stomach (for now). ?

**Worst Dining Experience Ever!**
I had the unfortunate experience of dining at La Conde in San Diego, and I must say it was one of the worst meals I've ever had. The service was absolutely abysmal, thanks to our server, Franklin T. From the moment we sat down, he was rude, inattentive, and made us feel like an inconvenience. His attitude was beyond unprofessional, and it was clear he had no interest in providing even the most basic level of service.
As for the food, it was a complete disaster. Every dish we ordered was bland, overcooked, and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. There was no effort put into the presentation, and it was clear that the kitchen had no idea what they were doing. To top it all off, the drinks were a joke. There was absolutely no alcohol in them, despite being advertised as cocktails. We might as well have been drinking juice!
If you're thinking about going to La Conde, do yourself a favor and avoid it at all costs. There are plenty of other places in San Diego that actually care about their customers and know how to serve a decent meal. This place is a total waste of time and money.

Honestly I don’t leave reviews but this place legit deserved it.
Got my water refilled once, the food was legit terrible I’d rather go eat at an Outback Steakhouse which is really saying something.
Franklin T was our server and kept saying he was sooooo busy but THERE 3 tables TOTAL in the restaurant then he was aggressive when we called him over 8 times to get the check, water refills etc.
Do yourself a favor and don’t go to this place.

Food was absolutely terrible. Ordered mashed potatoes and tasted like GLUE. Steak was small and flavorless. Only thing that was decent was the broccoli. Waiter tried to charge us for room temperature bottled water and said we asked for this. Untrue. Would have much rather had ice cold water like the table next to us. Do not visit. Overpriced garbage.

Restaurantji Recommends
Although it presents itself as a Latin American restaurant, the majority of dishes are Mexican with a few Peruvian. And yes the Salmon dinner was delicious, the Mezcal cocktails along with it were overpriced. The price did not match my enjoyment and expectation. 3/5

The restaurant was totally empty for a Thursday night. The best thing about this place was the vibe, and the the dry ice in our cocktails. The service was extremely slow and lacking attentiveness. Our server never once came over and asked us if we needed anything: more drinks, if the food was ok, dessert, nothing! I had to consistently ask for water (which we were unknowingly charged for), and the food was mid at best.

I used to go to this restaurant for great food and entertainment, but sadly the restaurant went over few major changes. We ordered an aguachile verde, and 6 of us end up having a burnt mouth. We had tried Bronzino and it was pretty good Our service was kind of slow and music was way too loud
I had a terrible time at La Conde. The place was dull and boring, and the staff couldn't have been more indifferent. It took forever to get our food, and when it finally arrived, it was a disaster. The main course was overcooked and gross, and the sides were just flavorless. For the prices they charge, you'd expect way better. Save your money and skip this place—La Conde is seriously overrated. 0/10 would NOT recommend
If you're coming here for the food, prepare to be disappointed. The dishes were incredibly bland and arrived cold, showing a clear lack of care in the kitchen. This place is more about tequila, shots, and loud music than offering a decent meal. This is not a place for families or anyone looking for a kid-friendly environment. The focus here is on the bar scene, so if that's what you're after, you might enjoy it. But for a good meal? Look elsewhere. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their food quality and service. Until then, I can't recommend this place for dining.
