We've been here twice now. Both times, the food was perfect. We had birria tacos and a chile relleno. I would recommend either but, the chile relleno was one of the best I ever had.

La Doña is a very casual, comfy, and friendly restaurant with good service and a broad menu. They offer brunch on weekends as well as their typical menu.
The drinks are all very well crafted, and the food is flavorful. My one complaint is that the Mar y Tierra burrito was too wet inside, leading to a subpar texture. However, the other things we tried, from the margarita to the eggs Benedict, were delightful. I would return to eat here again.

Awesome Mexican restaurant! We had 5 of their breakfast options and all were delicious. My favorite was the chorizo burrito. Drinks were great as well. Pictured is the El Niño cocktail (passion fruit/gin), which we all loved.

Best place ever! The family and I went to dinner here on a Saturday and were amazed. The restaurant was full, but the service was very fast. I ordered the Quesobirria tacos and the wife the Chicken Tinga tacos, both of which were delicious. And we ended the night with the best churros we've ever had in our lives. If you're visiting SD, this is a must eat at Mexican restaurant.

fish tacos were certainly decent, I’d pass on the vegan mushroom taco though. Guac was very good and beans and rice were tasty. Service was excellent.
Sit outside and people watch and play with all the dogs that walk by!

We had dinner for my husband's b- day at La Dona last night.
From the hostess sitting us to the food , the experience was bad.
The food was very quick to come to table a sign of pre prepared food that did not taste as expected . the carne asada taco smelled and tasted bad and my husband could not eat it.
We are disappointed as the ratings were very misleading .
drinks were expensive and food was bad. $200 waste of money.

Was just in here. As I walked in the sign said please eat yourself. So I set myself. I sat there for 15 minutes, and was ignored. So I left.

The food was delicious. They seemed a bit short staffed so we did not get the best service but it was still acceptable.
