I ordered a breakfast burrito with a hash brown on the side. Burrito wasn’t bad, but hash brown was disgusting. This place is hit or miss, but seems to be more “miss” lately, so Al feeling like it’s time to go elsewhere.

Stopped here while shopping in Hillcrest Calif. We had a great experience. Service was great. The hard tacos were delicious. They have happy hour pricing M-F 1p-6p the tacos are $2 for chicken and the beef were $3. Fish are $3. The bean & cheese burrito is $7.99 it's big & comes with a soda. They have a salsa bar with a lot of choices. They have seating inside & out.

Sit in and enjoy it fresh! Delicious, honestly some of the best Hispanic food I've had aside from my mom's own cooking! Flavorful, filling, definitely worth the price!

La Fuente isn't just a Mexican restaurant; it's a Hillcrest institution, and for good reason! This place is a lifesaver, whether you're fueling up before a night out or satisfying those post-club cravings.

First off, let's talk portions. Forget those tiny, overpriced plates - La Fuente serves up generous helpings that will leave you completely satisfied. You definitely get your money's worth here.

And the taste? Forget about it! From their carne asada fries (a must-try!) to their perfectly seasoned tacos and flavorful burritos, everything is consistently delicious. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and put love into their cooking. I've never had a bad meal here.

But what truly makes La Fuente special is its perfect location and late-night hours. It's the ideal spot to grab a bite before hitting the clubs in Hillcrest, or to refuel after a night of dancing. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and the staff is always friendly, even when it's packed.

If you're looking for tasty, affordable, and satisfying Mexican food in Hillcrest, look no further than La Fuente. It's a true gem!

Parking: This place so bad it reminds me of México. He had to pay $.25 to use the restroom. That’s crazy. came wash my hands. That’s so no bad business, you better off go across the street to McDonald’s.

A place that understands that a Cali Burrito comes with GUAC!! I don't know why other places don't get that and I don't know why this place doesn't have a better rating! The flour tortilla tasted fresh, the guac was FRESH GUAC, not that bs avocado sauce that other places ::cough:: Cotixan, Cotijas, Los Titos, Adalbertos, Filibertos ::cough:: give you. And they give you real, undiluted sour cream. And the woman who helped me in the drive-thru (10/4 at like 8pm) was super warm and welcoming! I'll be back! This place deserves more stars!!
