This is the best authentic Mexican bakery in San Diego. They make fresh and warm conchas and bolillos. This family has been baking for several decades and they're amazing at it. Truly an under-rated San Diego secret.

The sweet bread is very good but they are pricey with their breakfast bollios is good but they are greedy with the filling inside. $4.99 for something that is only filled in the middle. The sweet bread is very good. The bollios are good but they are very caciques with the filling of the bollio. $4.99 is what I paid for now and for the first time I filled the bun with cream cheese and 2 round slices of jalapeño ?

I absolutely love this place although the owners are different than the original I have still been coming to this location since 1986 this is one of the best of the very few places in San Diego that make birote rellenos although I work in Rancho Bernardo I literally drive down four times a week just to purchase food again I absolutely love this place and hope it never goes away

The stuffed breads(birote relleno) are great. Freshly beaked every morning. Any time I can, I swing by in the morning. When the bread is gone is gone. The sweet bread(pan dulce), I did not liked. Me! I am pretty sure other people like it.

My favorite panadería in the south bay. Always clean, very kind staff, and delicious panes with large selection and are open late till 7pm. They also have bolillos rellenos which I heard are good but I haven't tried yet. Prices are great and I prefer this place instead of donuts(they have these too though) etc.

Stopped by for a bolillo with cheese and jalapeño and wasn't expecting to pay $5 plus taxs for it...next time I'll just go to northgate there way cheaper there. Too expensive.

The bread was very old
The place smells good and looks clean and the cashier is always so sweet and kind.
Good Pan ( bread).
Small but very tasty.
Not even 7pm yet and they closed.
