Definitely a 5-star food dinner experience for me! Food is authentic, delicious. I’m from the city area and do love Mexican food and dine a lot in Mexican restaurants. But I’ve never had a burrito that is so well done: very thin tortilla wrap, with juicy food well wrapped in. The seafood cocktail is well seasoned and loaded too. I have to say comparing with their burrito, the ones I had before are so dry and the wrap were usually double the thickness. I told my husband I feel like someone who’s been eating fast food dry burgers finally got a taste of a real, juicy burger in a good place lol

I bought 1 chicken, 1 lamb, and 1 carna taco, and I got food poisoning less than 1 hr later.Hopefully, this hasn't happened to anyone else today. We tried over a dozen places, and I felt we were bound to come across one that ruined it. My wife got fish tacos so she didn't get sick.

Food was amazing! Service was excellent (even on a busy Saturday)! This is by far my favorite spot now in Pacific Beach!!!! Highly recommend to anyone!

New owners not the same as the old la perla. The food sucks and they didn’t even have green salsa. Not to mention the Cali burrito was 14.25.

Found this little restaurant a couple weeks ago, and have been back twice since! They’ve been consistent. We tried different tacos, mariscos, and burritos. All were delicious. Service is friendly, place is clean, and the salsa is good. Parking is tough-but it’s worth it.

Pretty bummed that this is the shrimp "ceviche" I got for $8. Had maybe 4 whole shrimps combined. Shrimp was very hard and warm, so I did not eat it. Convinced I was given a shrimp cocktail instead of ceviche as this was mostly clamato and pico ?

Awesome location. Lovely family. So many items that are good on the menu and so many options to choose from. Their ceviche was beautifully done and delicious (I normally never like this dish). Their seafood tacos are a must. Looking forward to taking my family next time. Shout out to Gregory!

THIS is the place to get your seafood. This was the first place we ate when we arrived in SD, having found it on google maps. We had the grilled shrimp tacos, fish tacos and aguachile. We went on and tasted the same things at several different restaurants, but none surpased or equalled La Perla's. Not even the very crowded place across the street. This is a hidden gem. Get on it before it steals the line from across the street!

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options, vegan and pescatarian, too!

My husband and I are here in San Diego visiting from Texas. We came across La Perla De Michocan, hands down the best tacos we have ever had! Brandon helped us and he was one of the kindest young man and most helpful we have had the pleasure of serving us. If you are in the area of Pacfic Beach this place is must try!

Excellent fresh seafood tacos, lengua like I love it! California burrito the best. Condiments in abundance with all spice preferences. Brandon very helpful with detailed recommendations. I’ll be back!

Classic hole-in-the-wall Mexican taqueria that does burritos right. The ingredients are high quality and the tortillas perfect. Highly recommended

Fish tacos on another level. I had the sea bass taco and it was just like being in Mexico at K38 eating fresh caught fish. When they say it's fresh made they mean it!This a family business making amazing mariscos in PB! If you like or crave true Baja food, you will not find better at the beach!

This place came highly recommended and did not disappoint! The burritos were outstanding. Staff was very accommodating and professional. The Al Pastor, shrimp, and chicken burritos were excellent. Highly recommend.
