The worst breakfast burrito I ever had. $13 for a Taco Bell size burrito. I ordered the chorizo. There was maybe a half a teaspoon of chorizo mixed in with the egg and overcooked like a tortilla about six tiny potatoes. It was a joke like I literally am so mad. I immediately knew wow this is the smallest burrito but then when I saw what was in it, I absolutely did not waste the calories. Trash!! Worst Mexican restaurant in San Diego. Most of them are excellent-go literally Annette else and you’ll be good’

Pro- Food was authentically made and delicious. And it was located in a great area with close access/walking distance from the beach. Despite the CONS below; I would eat here again. But would take the food To-Go.
- Customer Service was very hospitable and lovely. Very kind and attentive

Con- FLIES EVERYWHERE. It was borderline infested. There were flies inside, & outside. So many that it made eating comfortably next to impossible. 🪰// My tacos came with diced tomatoes; which I was not a fan of. The Menu did not show that it came with it or I would have asked for No Pico // Bathroom had a sign that said “out of service” // The 1 and only ceiling Fan they had was broken and only worked on the lowest setting which barely spun…. Being in direct sunlight is recommend at least bring a fan or go at night.

Everything about this place was perfect. We sat by the open window and felt the breeze on our face. The food was delicious and the owner was very sweet.

This is a wonderful little place. There's seating inside or out, or get it to go and enjoy on the beach. It's a family owned place, run with love.
The food is fabulous! We've gone two days in a row. Great selections and great prices!

Carne asada burrito.
Meat, cheese, guacamole, pico,
Meat flavor was kinda weak and the cheese and guacamole serving was weak too. Overall the flavor was decent with the green sauce drizzled over every bite.

I don’t think I would go back, but it was worth trying it out.

Service was great, lady behind the register was very friendly.

Sometimes can be hard to find street parking.

A true beach burrito shop, the California burrito is a must have when visiting mission. Food is always fast and hot, and you get some great people watching while you wait. Highly recommend.

Nice Cali burrito. Quick bite while waiting for the viral Juice Wave next door.
