Randomly stumbled across this spot while looking for a quick bite on a Saturday night, and I’m so glad we did. The place was quiet, which honestly made it feel like a hidden gem, as we were the only customers there. The young Italian guy working there was super friendly and welcoming—made us feel right at home.
I had no idea what to order, so I let him pick for me, and wow... it ended up being one of the best pastas I’ve ever had. It was a creamy vodka pasta with salmon, and it seriously hit the spot. Prices were super reasonable too, and the whole place has this cozy, intimate vibe that makes you want to linger.
Definitely planning to come back!

Went with a friend and we were being very indecisive and fussy and instead of being annoyed, our incredible waiter talked with us and asked us what we were in the mood for and thought of a dish he could suggest with some modifications. He was so patient and charismatic, this place immediately became a favorite because of him. Oh and the food was great too - pasta with cream sauce and chicken. Good heavens!

I gave them a 20% tip on 2/9/2025. I just checked my receipt and credit card statement and they DOUBLED THE TIP. I use a corporate credit card, so any discrepancies between the receipt and charge force further investigation. Thank you for the extra paperwork, and we will be flagging this charge.

If im rating San Diego pizza places, this is my personal "Best Overall Pizza" restaurant in San Diego. It's more than just pizza though. Also great Italian food. Unpretentious and cute cafe environment with lots of good wine.

Great recently reopened pizza spot. Went on a quiet night and pizza was great. We ordered a standard pepperoni and overall it was a well balanced. It was heavy on the cheese, so it did lend to a heavier (wetter) pizza that folded over itself when bent in half, but to some that is well liked. The marinara sauce was great. I felt the bruschetta was even better, with fresh mozz and tomatoes complimenting the base bread. Complimentary bread with butter included which was good but not great. I did have to prompt the waiter for a few things, but he was courteous when asked.

This is the second time we have dinner here and it has been superb. I also invited my bother and his family and they too loved it. The food and the service is perfect. It is a small and cozy Italian Restuarant. I highly recommend it.

We had not been to Arrivederci Pizzeria since the re-opening. The food is as good as always but the service was just OK. It seems to be only one waiter when we were there. It was Friday night and there were several tables, so that was definitely a factor.

This pizzeria has wonderful service, wonderful food, and a wonderful atmosphere. I’m so shocked that every time we’ve gone, there are so many open tables.
I always get the Primavera pizza and—oh my gosh, it’s so perfectly cooked with perfect leoparding along the cheese and crust. My friends usually get the Margherita or some other vegetarian one, and those are always delicious as well.
Can’t say enough good things about this place. Also, the prices are very reasonable!
