I'm Latina, and I can say they have really good beans and rice here. Some places have runny beans but not here. Their rice is fluffy, too. I usually only get the same items over and over, which are their rolled tacos, chorizo burrito, Pollo Asado with chips.

I have been frequenting this place since the 80's and the days of WCPC. Lmfao. Holy shit the food is still the same and as excellent as I remember. The service is good and you will definitely see a little city life on its boring ass patio

I’ve been ripped off more than once. The guy at the register will pretend not to understand English and will charge you for your full order but when you get your food he will pretend that you didn’t order it.

A taco shop I has been a go to for me for over 30 years! Yes! 30 years! I’ve been coming here on and off since roughly 1990-ish! The Mexican food has been consistently top notch and never disappoints!I’ve even ended up here at 2am on Nea Years 2K and ran into my brothers!Carne asada, rolled tacos, and chicken tacos are my solid choices! My son LOVES the bean & cheese burrito!I’ve moved but whenever in this area and in need to fill my tummy, this is a go to! If you order the California burrito, the french fries in it will be so crispy that even when you reheat the burrito in a toaster oven the next day, they will still crunch.Parking: Only a couple parking spaces.

Their rolled tacos are always a good choice. I remember one night long ago there was a blackout but La Posta was usinggenerators to stay open. I moved to the Bay Area 18 years ago and missed this place so much. When I am in San Diego I always go back.Kid-friendliness: They have simple items for kids such as bean and cheese burritos. They will also custom make most menu items tgevway your child likes it.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair can roll right up to the order and pick up windows.
UPDATE I JUST THREW UP THE FOOD AND HAVE STOMACH PAIN.Ordered 5 rolled tacos. Cashier with A necklace didn't inform me of his special and when I asked for it he charged me normal price and said too late. I asked if he can charge me difference and he wasn't having it.The rolled tacos are trash. We're not made fresh. Came with a smack of guacamole and barely any cheese.This place definitely changed from 2016.The cook was nice as I asked for lettuce and he assisted while cashier was unprofessional in regards saying I wasn't charged for it.Definitely won't be coming back.

Somewhat expensive for a taco shop, and they aren't open as late as they used to be (9PM most days) but still one of the only places that does rolled tacos how I like them (with the powdery, salty Mexican cotija cheese) and I also like their Carnitas burritos. Wish they were open for late night eats!
