I stopped by La Puerta during happy hour and it did not disappoint. The half-off pupus were an unbeatable deal, and the portions were surprisingly large, definitely great value for the price. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. The bartender was also very cool and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back for happy hour when I’m in SD again!

The food was below expectations, with bland flavors and poor presentation. Some items seemed poorly prepared and not very fresh. The service added to the disappointment, as it was slow and inattentive. Staff did not appear very welcoming or concerned about customer satisfaction. Even though the prices were not extremely high, they did not match the quality provided. Overall, I left feeling dissatisfied and would not choose to return to this restaurant.
Great, quick service. They were very accommodating with our annoying food mods. Jessica was fast, kind, and attentive. Food was well portioned and flavorful. Highly recommend!
