I may have written the wrong place or location but THIS IS THE ONE. I am addicted to their fish burritos. Man, these are just the best ever. Quick service. Nice people inside. There's a nice tent to stand in while you wait, free soup! What else can you ask for? 10/10 this spot wow

I just pay $18 for a agua chile tostada it had only 3 shrimps only no other sea dos just that and way to much onion to fill it so disappointing it seems outrageous to pay this much for so little

The food was made to order and was very fresh. Remember, this isn’t fast food so a wait is on the cards but the quality is epic. Also, this is located in a parking lot with no seating and four small tabletops so be prepared. Overall, it is excellent!

I’ve had my fair share of tacos and the garlic shrimp and chicken tacos were by far the best I’ve ever had. They also offered complimentary soup which was fishy, salty and spicy and it was perfect while we waited in the cold to collect the food. Very friendly guys and awesome food that was very nicely packed too. I’ll be back again and again.

These are maybe the best fish tacos I've had in San Diego. I've gotten them so many times, and they have no right to be this good. Ask for a bag for the spicy pickled onions, they are so spicy and so flavorful. The people who work here are also always so sweet and kind. There's usually a little bit of a wait, but that's because everything is cooked hot and fresh so I really can't complain!

This is one of my preferred taco trucks in the neighborhood, despite the abundance of food trucks available.I've sampled various items from their menu, with particular recommendations for the Shrimp Aguachile and their OG Fish Tacos. While the Shrimp Aguachile leans toward the pricier side, the assurance of cleanliness and freshness, along with a notable lack of excessive saltiness, justifies the cost. The OG Fish Taco consistently delivers a flavorful, crispy experience, complemented by generous toppings that add texture and enhance the overall deliciousness. For those who prefer dining in, they offer a couple of tables. The condiments are made fresh daily, and they are quite generous with toppings or add-ons, allowing you to customize your food to your liking. The modest team, characteristic of a food truck, ensures a reasonable wait time. During peak hours, especially around noon, they can get busy, but the wait is generally acceptable.Additionally, there have been instances where they offered complimentary soup, adding a nice touch to the overall experience.

Their OG fish taco is highly recommended. Located at Texas Food and Liquor along Texas Street, has become one of my favorite taco trucks in the neighborhood, despite the abundance of food trucks in the area. I've explored various items on their menu, and I particularly recommend their Shrimp Aguachile and OG Fish Tacos. The Shrimp Aguachile, though slightly on the pricier side, guarantees a clean and fresh taste without being overly salty. The OG Fish Taco consistently delivers a flavorful, crispy experience, complemented by generous vegetables, toppings, and sauces that add texture and enhance the overall deliciousness of the crispy fish. For those looking to dine in, they offer a couple of tables. The freshness of their condiments and daily-prepared ingredients stands out. They are quite generous with toppings and add-ons, allowing diners to customize their orders. During busy hours, especially around noon, it's reasonable to expect a wait time, given the modest team running the food truck. Occasionally, they even offer free soup as a pleasant surprise. he staff is friendly, and despite the wait during peak hours, the overall experience at Mariscos La Reyna Del Sur 2 is worth a visit for taco enthusiasts.

Came here on last Saturday of 2023 during my lunch break . Fish tacos & shrimp tacos are great. Only thing is that it took them like 40 min for my 4 tacos to be ready ?not sure if they hired a new cook b4 the new year or if he was just hung over & eating all the aguachiles himself ?

Definitely don’t go at night. Their menu is hidden beneath a mess of flashing lights. I swear I’m still seeing flashes. Services was a no as well. Ended up leaving because there were no prices and I couldn’t read the menu not to mention inaudible replies from behind the glass.

Food Truck Series, Part 6This is the time of year when (I guess) we’re supposed to be pondering which New Year’s Resolutions we’re going to pretend to be serious about beginning next month. While I haven’t selected mine just yet, I’m considering resolving to visit more food trucks…just ‘cuz. Seems realistic, right? I mean, why publicly declare that you’re committing to doing something “unfun” like beginning a new gym membership when you can resolve to doing more of something you actually enjoy? ?‍♂️We caught up with “La Reyna del Sur 2” on the corner of Meade Avenue and Texas Street in San Diego, California, and initially I was concerned that perhaps I had made a poor choice because when I arrived there was absolutely no one waiting to order or eating. However, in the time that it took me to study their menu and make my selections, an opposite reality occurred. The line grew steadily longer until we all began to run out of space while lingering about for our food (and I’d much rather encounter this challenge than the former one).Speaking of the menu, when my order arrived I realized that their definition of “mini tacos” was different from mine. While I enjoyed each of my Asada, Chicken, and Al Pastor “mini tacos”, the portions were generous enough that I struggled a little bit to eat all of them (perhaps another good “problem” to have).Their selections are made to order, so try not to arrive “hangry” because you’ll need to exercise a little patience while waiting for your order to be prepared.Seating and parking are both limited, but they accept both cash and cards. If you’re up for a little food truck adventure, we found this one worth the time when you’re in the University Heights neighborhood. And that’s…Henry’s Take.#foodtruckseries#sandiegofoodtrucks
