1st timers, OT resy @ 6:15, restaurant about 1/2 full, no server arrived until requested one from nearby server after 10 mins sitting, server arrives named “Sean”, VERY LOUD & unable to read customers & unable to deliver what he said he would & when...no quick service as promised! There x 2.5 hours, soooo slow! Crudo trio NOT eatable, FISHY fish & sauces clearly way too heavy to HIDE the weak fish. Salad & 2 entrees & trio of sorbets good. A nice Bus guy/runner brought & DESCRIBED all bread & spreads & later Crudo plate, then LATER Sean arrives & FORCES his RE-hash of the same, yes, & WAY TOO LOUD. $200 & no booze. Would NOT rec or return. Corporate flavor. Morton's & Ruth Chris & even too corporate Flemings way better. Ooo, the parking Valet told us that this Larsen's location soon. Weird.

AMAZING FOOD! Amazing service I heard it is shutting its doors and it broke my heart because it had honestly the best food. I am a vegetarian and the whole time I have been in San Diego never did I think that in a steak house I would have the best vegetarian food and they have great selections of salads. My partner has a delicious dried filet mignon she was very very happy. I would and will go back again. I want to also go wherever there servers go because they provide such great service made our date night so special

This place is absolutely wonderful! The staff was amazing and the food was exceptional. I also loved the noise level it was pretty laid-back and chill but it also had a really fine dining experience. I will definitely go back there again! Also, the prices were pretty reasonable for how much food you get. You get a lot of quantity for your quality!

Our first time here and it was amazing. The staff was really superior and catered to our party. The food is amazing!!! We had aged meats and regular meats both awesome flavor and textures. We had quiet a few of the side dishes but the best was the Mac and cheese and the sweet potatoes by far. Deserts were great as well. Server er paired our wine with each course beautifully. Need to come back for the seafood tower!!!

Too pricey although the food was good. We shared an entree/ soup/ salad with 1 cocktail and 1 glass of wine each + 1 shared dessert and bill was $400.00. Too expensive to come back any time soon.

Larsen's is a high-end steak house with delicious food. I personally think my prime ribeye was too fatty for what I paid, but it was cooked nicely and the sides were fantastic. The pork chop was awesome. Our server was great but also disappeared toward the end, so it took awhile to get our check. Overall it's a decent place for a nice date night, but nothing to write home about.

Service was mediocre. Our steaks were cold when served to us. (They were replaced.). Creamed spinach was not good. Wine was way overpriced. A $10.00 bottle of Oyster Bay was marked up to $70.00. While our server tried to provide us with a good dining experience, he was a bit off the mark. He repeatedly addressed us as Senor and Senora and referred to my husband as "boss." Would not ever go back.

Our waiter was trying very hard. He was very friendly, but there was a relatively strong language barrier which made ordering our food unpleasant, slow, awkward, and the way he tried to recommend almost half the items on the menu (by putting his finger on the item ON my menu and speaking directly to me saying how much he enjoyed the pointed-to-item) gave me such bad anxiety I actually closed my eyes and just shut down for a couple minutes. We were seated at 6:05. We didn't get bread until 6:35 and our appetizers until 6:54. We were a party of 3 and we all ordered dry aged filets, two 12oz and one 8oz. 12's ordered as medium rare and the 8 ordered as between medium and medium rare (medium rare +). All three were decidedly on the extra rare end of rare. They were cooked through, but barely. All three steaks just turned to mush in the center. And then to make that issue even worse for me, my steak knife was so dull it was literally unusable. I ended up SHARING A KNIFE for over 10 minutes until we could get it replaced. And even the replacement wasn't really sharp. Oh, and all three of our steaks were so absolutely plastered in pepper it was like we'd specifically ordered steak au poivre (which isn't on their menu), and we all had to scrape off the extra peppercorns. This is unrelated to our meal, but quite relevant to wine enjoyers, their wine "list" is pathetic. Truly laughable.

I took my fiancé here back in July for his birthday. But I barely posted my review because I was so behind with everything. So back in July I made reservations here and wow it was very pleasant. We got a nice table with a great server Brian. The restaurant is beautiful! I love it. We started with a bottle of wine Malbec. For appetizers we ordered fresh oysters and the lobster sushi roll. Both of them were phenomenal. Oyster super fresh! And the sushi very tasty. I ordered the filet mignon medium and my fiancé the ribeye medium with some tasty Bernaice butter which gave an incredible flavor to the steaks. For sides we ordered a couple of them. Mashed potatoes, Brocoli, and creamed spinach. Everything was cooked to perfection! Super tasty! The quality was phenomenal. For his bday they gave him a complementary banana dessert. Overall everything was great! And can't wait to come back! Thank you!

Some food was outstanding some was meh for the price. The short rib was dry and very lean for a short rib but the steaks and sides were good. The ribeye especially was amazing. Mashed potatoes were really good. The bread service and the cake were both incredibly dry. Overall the meal was pretty good but some things didn't match the quality of the price point. The service was lovely.

The pricing for our dinner for 4 was outrageous! We split sides and salads and even shared a steak. The service was very good, but now charging for bread? Noisy during early dinner hour and your signage for the restaurant and parking is minimal. We had out of town friends and they found it hard to find the restaurant. There are so many steakhouses to choose from Larsen's will not be my choice.

The food and the service was first class at Larsen's! Thanks Dylan for serving our table. Also, thanks to all those that stopped by our table to greet us and ensure our experience was amazing! We will be back!

Came here for an intimate birthday celebration with my husband. Richard was our server and he was excellent!! Very helpful and even gave me the most decadent birthday dessert. DO NOT sleep on the banana foster butter cake, you will thank me later!

The service was pretty good but the meal was hit or miss for the price (very expensive). My steak was dry aged but my wife got the "wet" and it was actually better (and cheaper). The Lobster tail was very good! $20 for mash potatoes, seriously? They did provide a complimentary birthday dessert "banana fosters" and it was quite good. Overall, not a bad experience, but pricey.
