This place is over hyped. The rice is mushy, beans come with egg mixed in and the pollo in the tacos barely has a taste. In all honesty it's bland. The only thing worth getting are the tortillas.
Cash only - hours may differ from what is stated online. Parking is limited. Expect a line that extends to outside the premises. Chicken or pork/No guac - yum!

This IS the OG restaurant in this barrio. Always a line out the door.. and worth the wait. Food is pretty straightforward, like it used to be, and flavor to taste with the onion, cilantro lemon packs they provide for each order. Tamale/beans/rice order was awesome, as was the burritos we ordered takeout
