A North PB neighborhood favorite Pub. Great bar food, reasonably priced menu. I recommend the Philly Cheese Steaks, Hamburgers, Hot & Cold Subs, Grilled Cheese and Tots. Friendly, attentive staff. Warm chill atmosphere.

Luckily found parking right in front, but can get VERY crowded during Redskins games. There were zero seats at the bar, and I asked a table with space if I could share. Craft beers are holding line at $8 each. Might be the best cheesesteak in San Diego. I'm from the east coast, so I know about these things. Philly Frank's in San Marcos is close, Gaglione Brothers (stadium version) is a distant third. No gristle. The money pitch is the 1/2 cheesesteak ($8) with a side of tots ($6.50). That looked good!Forget about the wings- the Buffalo sauce was good, but the wings themselves were almost comically small. Should have taken a photo. Skip these.

Game day location when in PB. Great vibes, brews, and food. Happy to catch the Colorado/Oregon game here. Quick service between the kitchen and the bar.

This place is fantastically great not only as both a public house and neighborhood gathering spot, but also as a fun location to meet your broskies and have a cocktail, including something to eat as well. Did you know that you can be on the scene and have a great time? It's true and completely available for you when you visit this bar and eat some of their food and have a delicious drink, all for your own pleasure. They have trivia night sometimes, so you'll want to check that out for sure, especially if you enjoy trivia and being at the pub and laughing and answering questions for the victory. You will love it for sure!
Exactly what you want in a local dive bar/pub. Went to a trivia night which was fun because it was old school (aka write the answers on a piece of paper and run it up), however it was very long so be ready to stay up late. Only knocked it a star because the food was good but not great.

Best PB local, best beer, best bartenders, best owner! Closed Tuesdays. The food is excellent and affordable. Older crowd.

As the other reviews state, BEST cheesesteak in town! Super authentic and big offerings. I recommend the classic spicy cheesesteak. Can’t go wrong!Just a reminder, this place does not allow any kids at all, even on the patio. 21 and up only.Kid-friendliness: No kids allowed. 21 and up only.

fun, clean little bar. The owners Willy and Lisa really made us feel at home - and we're from Phoenix!if you're ever in the pacific beach area, do yourself a favor and visit this place. Super friendly staff, good prices, and decent food! They only serve wine and beer, but have a bunch of delicious craft beers and wines to choose from - many from local breweries.
