I called in an order for pickup. When I arrived I gave them my name and was told my order wasn’t ready yet. After waiting around 15 minutes they realized they didn’t have my order in the system. I showed them the number I called on my phone and confirmed with them I had called the correct location. They spent another 5 minutes trying to figure out what happened. In the end they didn’t apologize, didn’t offer to comp my pizza or give me a discount, they just said would have start my order from scratch. I get mistakes happen but this was absolutely horrible customer service.

The lobster pizza was divine! So good! This combination works so well! The sauce was bit tomato sauce but a rich, creamy white sauce that reminded me of Alfredo sauce. I’ll definitely be back.

I have ordered from and been to the Rancho Santa Fe and Encinitas locations for the past 15 or so years and they were always amazing. Scripps Ranch location is terrible. Food quality is much lower and they always forget items. Also customer service is terrible.

Their pizzas are good. I have been ordering pizzas from this location for several years. Last time, after paying them a 20% tip on a $31 pizza, I asked the cashier for a few packets of chili. She promptly charged me 18 cents for the three packets. Come to think about it, why should I even pay them even $1 tip when I place the order online, walk inside and pick up the pizza? What services are they providing for a tip? I decided then on that the counter staff at this location do not deserve any tips. When would these people understand that tips are for services provided, not mandatory? Taking my money and handing over the pizza is not a service. Would you pay a tip if you pickup ready to eat cold or hot food from Ralph's or Von's at the cash register?

Only had the Antipasto salad - very good. Staff at the counter was not friendly. Maybe just a bad day.

I typically refrain from leaving reviews or complaining about minor issues, but our experience at this establishment was fraught with significant problems. We dined here with our two children on a Thursday evening at around 5 PM. Despite a slow crowd and few patrons, our experience was subpar. Firstly, our salad arrived with a live beetle in it. While I understand that accidents happen, this was unsettling. We received a replacement salad, but the issues did not end there. I ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce, my children ordered pizza, and my husband ordered the vodka pasta. The children's pizza was served 19 minutes before our entrees. When our dishes finally arrived, my husband's meal was correct, but mine was not. Consequently, I had to wait while everyone else ate. During happy hour, my husband ordered a beer, which was significantly delayed. When we received the bill, we were offered complimentary dessert due to the difficulties we encountered. However, the bill totaled $80.34, but the charge to our card was $94.76. Items were added to the tab after the bill was presented, which is unacceptable. The restaurant only removed the cost of the salad in the end. Overall, our experience was very disappointing, and the situation was poorly handled. Despite our difficulties, the manager did nothing to address or rectify the situation. We expected better service and are very dissatisfied with how things were managed.
I came here, hoping to get a quick bite and accomplished that. Although they didn’t have prepared pizza, it only took 10 minutes for them to get me a mini pepperoni pizza, which was absolutely delicious! I’m from the East Coast so I know good pizza.THIS IS GOOD

We ordered on line and arrived at the appointed time to pick up our food. They told us it was going to be 10 minutes. After waiting for ten minutes we had to ask if our food is ready just to be notified they just received our order. Didn't even have the decency to tell us that? Not cool
I went to pick up a pizza from this place as it was close to the hotel I was staying at. I'm pleased with the quality of the pizza and it tasted really good. The service is great, and the guy at the front counter with brown curly hair was professional. If I were to stay at San Diego again, I'd eat at this place again as well.

I recently moved to the Scripps Ranch area and I was eager to find a pizza place that would be my new go-to. I can say I definitely found it in Leucadia Pizzeria. The service is always great, their team is always busy but attentive. It looks like they hire local kids for some of the delivery/front of house positions and I think that's a great way to give back to the community and offer opportunities for them. The pizza is always fresh and made exactly to order. I highly recommend their buffalo wings as well as their ranch which I believe is made in house. Seriously it's the best ranch we've had, and we order it by the pound regularly.

I was born and raised in Boston and the pizza we had at Leucadia Pizzaria and Italian restaurant in Scripps Ranch was as good as any I’ve eaten in Boston’s North End (Italian district). John and his team were amazing—-so friendly and accommodating! You’d be foolish not get your pizza and Italian food there. Highly, highly recommend!! We’re from out of town visiting family but you can bet we’re coming back to eat at Leucadia!!
