This rooftop is located on the 9th floor of the hotel. As soon as you get out of the elevator the restaurant will be to your left. There is a bar area and another seating area on the other side. It is a very chill, calm environment. I went for the first time with some friends to have dinner and the food and service was great. Mario our server was funny, very informative, attentive, polite, and would constantly check in on us to see if we needed anything. The hostess was also very nice and showed me where I could find the restroom and stated they have blankets incase it ever got too cold. I chose to sit near a fire pit and that kept me warm enough to be comfortable. The seating and the view is amazing. I ordered the mojo de ajo chicken, it was actually really good in my opinion. It is served with this sort of crusted bean cake that was phenomenal, never had anything like it. I also had a glass of the Mexican blend wine which was not too dry nor too sweet, but I would say a bit more on the drier side. Overall we had a great experience, absolutely loved and enjoyed it here. Thank you Mario for an unforgettable night!

Relatively new rooftop bar in the East Village area. Very spacious with bar, fire pits, and additional seats overlooking Petco Park and Gaslamp square. Drinks are a little steep but understandable as the experience includes the views from the bar. Half Door Brewing is across Island Ave. if one is trying to bar crawl or grab food.

More like rooftop flop. I understand why they need to give free beer cards away to get ppl into the venue. The food is really bland and terribly priced despite being plated so beautifully. My group that came in arent really foodies but we all collectively agreed to never come back here again. I tried the quesadilla and carnitas tacos and it was bland and greasy, the smash burger was super heavy, had no flavor or lettuce/tomato added to freshen it up. Fries were cooked in old oil and hard. The chicken burger desperately needed a marinade or spices for flavor. It tasted like plain boiled chicken..no salt, spice or anything to add flavor to it. The chipotle chicken salad was a bit better (you can't really mess up a salad) and the in house made ranch dressing is hit or miss depending on who makes it. It was different both times we tried it. So the consistency is not there. I've been here three times to give it a chance with two big groups of people. We mostly enjoyed the view. Everyone complained of the food. Unfortunately the service could've been a little better too. We saw people smoking cigarettes despite the signs, and incredibly cramped walkways once people filed in. The stressed out looking servers/bussers were struggling to get through the crowds on their free beer nights. Sad. Another manager turned off another groups firepit then kicked people out. It could've been handled a bit better or in a nicer way. People come out to have a nice night, enjoy the view. Being rude ruins that vibe amd makes it feel very unwelcoming. We tried to give this place a chance and it's a hard pass. The food is too expensive for how awful it tastes. And, not a single dish was sent back. Wasn't worth the fuss but did want to give a heads up to eat elsewhere. We tipped our waitress well, but will not be returning. This has to be the most dissapointing place to eat in San Diego with a view. 😮‍💨

New rooftop at Indigo hotel. amazing views of east village, downtown, and overseeing portion of the Padres stadium. This place can get a bit hot during a sunny summer day, but definitely worth the visit! They also had a dj for some live hits. its a great little spot for happy hour, sunset views, or an intimate time with friends. We tried their margaritas, and the presentation spoke for itself. in addition, it tasted balanced, not too sweet or too strong.

Great place! Amazing food, service, and a great view. Insider hack: they have a 24 ounce ribeye for $68 that EASILY feeds 2-3 people. Get that with some beans and rice and you have by far the best value steak dinner in all of downtown! It comes with blue corn tortillas, guac, cotija, etc. We live next door and go often. Check it out!

Borrego is spectacular - great for regular dining and group events; fun location, delicious food, excellent cocktails, and a stunning view (double points for overlooking the baseball game's fireworks).

We held a corporate gathering here and it was perfect - Jesus and his team took such good care of us, I wish every city had a venue like this for our events.

Cannot recommend Borrego and the Hotel Indigo enough - thanks team!!

I stayed at the hotel and thought that the rooftop bar sounded really cool. And it was. Awesome atmosphere with an amazing rooftop view of PETCO park. Fire Pete and confortable seating.

But the service wasn’t great. I first came up around 5:00 and even though there were only a few people here, nobody even acknowledged my presence and I left without anyone noticing I was even there

After going elsewhere for dinner and winks, I decided to try one more time with a nightcap. This time, I was greeted and seated right away, but then they seemed to have forgotten about me. Took about 35 minutes for me to get a drink.

Ordered a margarita and it was very good but after being there for an hour, I was only able to get one drink

Ordered drinks and fries. Fries came in late. It was served to another table. Drinks took longer only to find out it was served to the party beside mine (one of them didn't even want alcohol due to religious practice but wa served our alcoholic drink anyway) Drinks came in way late. Not going back there.

Absolutely terrible place. Out of everything, brought the wrong order and overpriced. Would not recommend this place at all

The service here was AMAZING Kyle was awesome, the only bummer was how long it took for food to come out and my friends waited a good time for my burger to get to me which ended up having their food get cold!

I got the dust devil cooler which was a good drink as well as some others the drinks are 10/10! The espresso de olla was one of the better espresso martinis I have had around!

A very friendly staff was ready to serve some fantastic dishes and beautifully-mixed drinks to my guest and I, in an ambiance that mixed Ranchero music with some great electronica dance music -- a bit odd, but fun -- for a surprisingly cozy feeling.
