The Living Room in La Jolla is still a cozy spot to get work done. I stopped in on a weekday and had plenty of room to spread out, sip a chai latte, and be productive. I used to come here all the time as a UCSD student and this was my first visit since they moved across the street. There is no upstairs anymore so the classic view is gone, but it is still quiet, comfortable, and perfect for hiding out with a laptop. I did not try the food this time. When I finished working, I drove to the cliffs to watch the sunset, which is the ultimate La Jolla bonus. Despite the changes, it is still a great place to camp out with a drink and get things done.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to this delightful establishment. The atmosphere was truly welcoming and provided a perfect setting for relaxation. The culinary offerings were exceptional, with each dish prepared to perfection. Furthermore, the coffee served was of outstanding quality, enhancing the overall experience. We highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone seeking a memorable outing.. staff was polite and very helpful. I strongly recommend this place to visit.

Have been to the other location by campus a couple times and had a great experience. However this location the staff were being so rude to people sitting in the cafe. Kicking people out if they hadn't bought anything and telling people they had to throw their food away if it wasnt from the establishment (even paying customers with drinks). They werent even nice about it too.

Incredibly rude to customers! The other location is much better. More welcoming, less money hungry environment.

Ordered food that never arrived despite asking the barista about it. Ultimately had to get a refund. Also the barista ignored people standing in line to have a personal conversation.

I think it's a little overpriced. You'll gain more customers over the course of the week if you can lower the price.

We came here on Friday night for their late night music and had a great time. The music and food were both amazing!

We shared some dishes and my favorite was the baba ganoush / dips platter, Greek salad and truffle fries.

I’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu!

If you come on Friday night for the entertainment definitely make reservations ahead of time.
